Water Sport Las Vegas — Local services in Las Vegas

Got a text at 9pm the night before our rental: "As to a some issues that we are experience with our water crafts the reservation for tomorrow been canceled We are sorry for the inconvenience and work to solve those problems ASAP for our customers We are highly appreciate your interest in our business and be happy to assist you to reschedule a Different date". If this place isn't a complete scam, they need to figure out how to communicate. We also tried to call them throughout the day day prior to confirm the reservation and they never answered. Finally, I have no assurance that my $650+ will be refunded. UPDATE: 4 days after the company cancelled the reservation via a text message from an unknown number, I have still not received any official communication regarding the cancellation or pending refund. I have resorted to disputing the charge with my credit card company. I finally talked to someone on the morning of my reservation who expressed frustration with me that I had written a negative review "for no reason." I informed the person that my reason was the lack of clear communication and that I may change my review depending on how the situation was ultimately handled. They told me they would provide me confirmation of the refund ASAP, but I have not yet seen anything except a "Thanks for visiting. Please rate us!" email. UPDATE 2: One month later and I never received any confirmation on the refund. Hoping this is an anomaly, but wanted others to be aware...

I had a upcoming rental. Paid deposit, gas and for tow service which came to $780. I spoke with someone 2 weeks ago when I was notified they can't do the tow service and I'll be refunded that portion. Guess what no refund. It has been 3 weeks and haven't received confirmation email for rental now no one is answering phone. At this point I feel scammed not to mention I'm coming in from out of town (Texas). No worries tho I will have a great time in Vegas and help the city reopen. I definitely won't recommend this company to anyone I know. Pros: Great price (best price we could find), Jet ski we rented, looked and operated like new, was NOT nickel and dimed for any extra charges or fees. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, pick up and drop off was quick and painless. The booking process was so convenient, called in during off hours and they were able to help still, very responsive staff. Definitely will be coming back!

Cons: (More of a FYI than a “con”) The staff recommended Lake Mead marina to launch which does have cheaper fuel than the other marinas and a great restaurant but a bit crowded. Callville Bay might be better for those looking to explore the lake but does have a bit more expensive fuel if you need to fill up before...
