First and foremost if you have a favorite taco place and you're hoping this will compare or measure up you can stop reading now. I won't waste your time. Go to Tacos El Gordo's. It's down Charleston only free miles away. Now if you have never eaten a taco then understand the meat I tried is no where close to Mexican. Please see back to beginning of this review where I mentioned an amazing place called Taco's El Gordo's. I got three tacos. I choose three tacos. I got two carne asada and al pastor. I mean I have words for this but I'm not sure where to start flavor wise. There was grease everywhere. Next the taste was reminiscent of sloppy joes meets spice. I mean it wasn't terribly bad flavor wise but it wasn't Al Pastor. The carne asada went much better. Think roast beef. Once again flavor not bad but not what carne asada taste texture etc. So I go back to the beginning if you've never had a taco please don't think this is what they taste like. I did ask for avocado and cheese and what was supposed to be like 6 bucks ended up almost 9. Now I will say they did give a decent amount of avocado on there. I'm really trying to find a reason to give them anything but 1 star. I mean despite the customer service and prompt customer service I'm not impressed. I mean I can't give a star for flavor because it was incorrect flavor. I honestly will not be going back. I also will not recommend this to anyone so I will have to stick with...
Read moreUpon entering the taco shop, my good friend and I were greeted by a very kind lady, she proceeded to take our order and we sat down. She brought our food with impressive speed. However, I am a 18 year old female and in my attempt to utilize the bathroom, I was startled by a distinct male voice stating “someone is in here”. I retook my seat slightly concerned, the man did not exit the women’s bathroom for the entirety of our 23 minute experience. We began our first and only course at Tacos Mexico, the food was crunchy but nonetheless pleasant. Slightly less pleasant, a man who appeared to be homeless entered the facility. He then preceded to pick up left over drinks off of the uncleaned tables. After deciding which beverage fit his palette he made his way to our table, grumbling probably envious of our crunchy overcooked Beans. Although his words were unclear, his passion was quite evident in the screaming match with the kind lady (previously mentioned). Once she chased the man out of the building, we then concluded our meal deeply satisfied on many levels. Overall, it was a fine dining experience. We were looking to eat at the scariest most unsafe taco shop in Vegas, and we believe this has fulfilled the high expectations we had set. Overall a 5 star experience. You should definitely visit tacos Mexico just don’t...
Read moreTerrible terrible service I don’t understand at all guy laughed when I paused asking for a fountain drink soda got charged for a jarrito as it was late I didn’t bother to correct him actually asked for him to just give me a coke in a bottle. Instead I ordered enchiladas and waited a great deal for my order to not come out with its main side rice and beans. After me receiving my entree I asked about my sides he had fled to the back before and never came back making me wait even longer for my sides and when he finally came back he didn’t apologize or anything felt almost like the guy did not care and proceeded to go towards The back to check on that. But when my sister went to go get her sauces as well she has slipped up and made a mistake of dropping the Toms and as she proceeded to tell him that she had did so he then said “clean them yourself “ in Spanish the food was horrible at that the rice was half burned and the enchiladas cheese smelled off. My brother in law ordered Chimy changas and didn’t even take another bite then the one he took the chimney changa was just chicken with egg my brother in law Threw the food away it was that un appetizing. I would never recommend this...
