This is the best little book shop. My family and I went in four or five times this past week, all buying more books and puzzles while we enjoyed our stay at the beach. The only thing that got me down, was the woman working who was exceptionally rude to people not wearing masks. I’m pro mask myself, but I definitely didn’t like the feeling she left me with when she was so vastly different in her interactions with people. Read moreTons of books, lots of cards, bumper stickers, art, etc., And great, friendly service in this small, independent bookstore. Books are varied and mostly new. Art is from a particular Portland artist specializing in mildly erotic fantasy paintings of mermaids and fairies (these are all prints, some signed by the artist). As far as the store itself, they have so many fun gift ideas for book lovers and non-readers alike! I usually go in JUST to buy gifts for friends, as I personally feel the library is sufficient when it comes to books. There are SO many books, though, if you are a book buyer! New and used. It's a very crowded little shop, so perusing is not easily done while anyone else but you is on an aisle, but don't let that stop you from going in! You'll miss out on some...
