It's a mixed bag. All depends on who they hire for the season. This afternoon two younger cashiers were having side conversations about me not realizing my husband was with me (not standing next to me) and heard them. They were not polite and clearly didn't know the products or prices. I would have turned and walked out except an older lady came out and gave me a friendly smile and welcomed me to the store. Then I remembered to not let side eyes from unexperienced staff sway me. One staff argued with me about what a sign said for the price of a box. Turns out, it was 30¢ for a small box to put Taffy in as I read. The two staff have the ability to really offend a lot of customers. I hope they get training they need before that happens. This time I made the trip with a dear friend and wanted her to experience all the wonderfulness of this place. They have been in town since the 1920's so they know what there doing 😁. My husband got peanut brittle. He said it was the best peanut brittle he has ever eaten.
