Where do I begin?

Inta Gems is a GREAT place. Not only do they have a great selection of stuff, but when comparing with many other jewelers, they definitely stand above and beyond the others. I bought my wife’s engagement ring and wedding band at Inta Gems about 3 years, and will not be buying jewelry from anyone else but Jerry, Connie, or their kids Steve and Peter. If you haven’t noticed, I am referring to them by name as this is the type of relationship that I have built with them over the past 3 years. This sound cliché, but for people I’ve only met 3 years ago, they seem more like family. They are friendly, knowledgeable, fair, but most importantly HONEST people. For that, they will get all of my business when it comes to jewelry.

Over the past three years, I have returned to Inta Gems several times for myself and also bringing in friends who were looking for stuff for their wives. Every single time we walk through the door, I see Jerry and Connie’s smiling faces and it brings me absolute joy. My friends have nothing but positive things to say about the stuff they have purchased thus far and have nothing but rave reviews about Jerry, Connie, and staff. One thing I want to point out here, is a conversation that I had with Jerry during my last visit on 3/9/2013. I told Jerry that he and his wife work so hard, and that they need to take an extended vacation. Jerry's response was that he loves what he does and that this was more or less like a “hobby”. His comments have stuck with me and now I have a better understanding as to why they are so friendly when people walk through those doors… Because they LOVE what they do.

For those who are reading this review, please believe me when I say this… I can GUARANTEE that you will LOVE the service that you receive at Inta Gems. Don’t do what I did in the beginning by going to the mall stores, Tustin Jewelry mart, Jared, Robbin’s Brothers holding a piece of paper with the information that I learned online about diamonds (i.e. 4 C’s, type of diamond, GIA vs EGL, etc…) ---- A complete waste of time, as these stores will 9 out of 10 times lead you towards something that has nothing to do with what you are looking for, and will try to sell you a lower grade diamond, just because it is larger. Trust me, a "SI2" is not the same as a "VVS1". Also, going to the LA Jewelry district to find a jeweler is like trying to sift through a haystack to find a needle.

Let me save you some time… Just go see Jerry and Connie, they will help you sort this all out and keep you within your budget... And you can come back to this review and thank me later.

Hopefully in your selection process, you will really take my review into consideration. Or you can ignore my suggestion, go elsewhere, and have to endure the same headaches I had 3 years ago. I recently went back to have my wife’s rings cleaned and once again, Jerry and Connie were awesome. I could not resist, so I bought something else from them. I am embarrassed to say that this review is very late because I am such a procrastinator. I found INTA Gems online while searching websites solely on feedback and I was quit intrigued by all the positive reviews on INTA. My husband wanted to buy me a 31 year anniversary ring. I didn't want to go to a franchise diamond company, but the drive downtown didn't thrill me either. I couldn't resist all the POSITIVE feedback though and had to go meet this wonderful establishment. So, off we drove from Thousand Oaks to downtown LA diamond district. I already felt like I knew Peter from all the feedback I'd read and our phone calls prior to meeting him. The entire family is so gracious and kind, but my heart belongs to Peter. Peter treated us like he had known us forever. He is so experienced in the field of diamonds and settings that I felt immediately at ease with him. I know that each person that goes to INTA will be treated with kindness, hospitality, and respect. There is absolutely NO PRESSURE from him and that meant a lot to me. I could go on and on about all the little things he did for us to make our visit memorable, but I think each person will experience their own when you visit. Now, let me tell you about my diamond ring. WHOA Nellie it's a beauty. We explained to Peter what we had in mind and he found the diamond that I wanted exactly. We then found the perfect setting and band. It's gorgeous. We just loved being with Peter and his family so much that when we went back a week later to pick up my ring we bought a faboulous set of diamond earrings, lol. I didn't care for the usual setting larger diamond earrings are set in. These diamonds were gorgeous and needed their own unique setting to showcase them. Leave it to Peter to come up with the Martini setting. Brilliant, just brilliant. I get so many compliments on my ring and earrings. The quality of my ring is the best diamond I've ever owned, AND the biggest. YAY. I was sad when it was time to pick up the earrings because I knew we weren't going to be back and I'd really grown very fond of sitting and chatting with Peter and his family. Peter's parents are very, very nice people. They should be very proud of their son, he really shines in his presence with customers. I apologize to you Peter and family for being so delinquent with my review, there is no excuse except I am a procraistinator. You deserve more than a measly 5 stars. You deserve 100 stars. This review is long overdue, but I just had to share my incredible experience with INTA Gems! I first visited back in January 2024, looking for a custom engagement ring, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I got engaged in August 2024, and my fiancé and I are still absolutely in love with the ring!

I was recommended INTA Gems by a coworker, and from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in great hands. INTA Gems is a family-owned Asian business, and you can really feel the warmth and care they put into everything they do. I had the pleasure of working with Peter, who was nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process.

I came in with my own design vision for the ring, and Peter and the team made me feel completely confident that they could bring it to life. We started by trying out various diamonds and gemstones, and after discussing my vision, they went above and beyond to source a stunning selection of pink diamonds for me to choose from to find the perfect shade of pink. I trusted them entirely with the process because their expertise and passion were so evident from the start.

Peter's attentiveness and friendliness truly set INTA Gems apart. They guided me through every step, from selecting the perfect diamond to finalizing the design. I was genuinely impressed with how fast they produced the CAD design and brought the ring to life. The craftsmanship was flawless, and the final product exceeded all expectations.

Not only was the quality and service outstanding, but the pricing was also incredibly reasonable, especially considering the level of customization and care they put into the ring. I’ve been recommending INTA Gems to all my friends and family because I know they’ll be in the best hands possible.

One of the most heartwarming parts of my visits was meeting the grandparents who help out at the store. They were absolutely adorable, always offering us candy and fresh fruits while we were there. It truly felt like being welcomed into their home rather than just shopping for a ring.
