Through the process of creating an engagement ring I talked to just about everyone; lapidary artists, raw stone seller, wholesale diamond sellers, big box retailers, local jewlers, and high end designer jewlers. Many of these people and businesses proved to be untrustworthy and employed a lot of questionable business practices. I even discovered retailers selling products at upwards of 10k that I was able to trace back to the original producers in india, producing them for as little as 150$ and passing them through entities in israel and elsewhere. I guess you could say I did a fair amount of due dilligence. All that research and due dilligence payed off when I found Jupiter Gem.

I was so happy when I started emailing Elvira at Jupiter Gems to find both absolute honesty and incredible customer service. Their customer service and comitment to their clients is unmatched. The stones and rings they provide are of excellent quality. Elvira was always prompt and thurough in communication, willing to answer any and all questions. They went so far as pointing out flaws and inclusions in stones that my untrained eye might have missed. When my fiance wanted a very specific shade of padparadscha they created custom videos with several stones and spent about a month finding the perfect one that was the exact shade she wanted. When it came to arranging payment I spoke with krishna directly by phone several times and he again went above and beond, taking phone calls while in the airport, arranging to make several payments on a CC so I could hit an Airline sign up bonus, all things that were not obligatory and went above and beyond. The amount of effort and attention to detail they put into my customer experience is nothing short of astounding and in my mind sets the bar for what true customer service is.

I am a soon to be dentist and inspected all stones and the final ring under loupes both 10x and 2.5x. I was meticulously detailed about what I wanted and they delivered beyond my wildest expectations. If I could, I would buy another beautiful piece of jewelry from them every month. I certainly will work with them in the future.

After searching for various ring and stone options on the internet for a few months, I finally stumbled upon JupiterGem. Initially I was looking for a diamond ring, but eventually settled on a sapphire which brought me to them. I've had a few not-so-great experiences in the past dealing with over-zealous jewelers or very pushy sales people and I was completely taken by surprise by how professional and polite the team at JupiterGem is. My main interaction was with Elvira the CEO, who is probably one of the nicest, calmest and most patient people on the planet. The entire process from picking a stone to designing the ring probably took over a month, and I can't think of a single time when I emailed or called her and she did not immediately respond or return my message. Buying an expensive piece of jewelry can be quite daunting especially if it's all done over the internet and you don't have the opportunity to see and inspect the stones yourself but she made me feel very comfortable and secure. The key to achieving that is absolute honesty with your customers. What really made the difference with JupiterGem compared to other online stores is that they will send you as many pictures and videos you need of whichever stones you prefer, basically it's a very personal approach to shopping. Throughout the entire time, I always felt they were very truthful with me and never felt pressured into making rash or biased decisions. Furthermore, Elvira not only pointed out which stones had inclusions or were not loupe-clean/eye-clean but she also advised me on the color, saturation, cut and other aspects of each stone. Somehow, when dealing with JupiterGem you have this feeling that you are their only client and that you get all the attention in the world. It's truly rare these days to find such impeccable customer service. Once I chose my stone, I provided them with a few design options for the ring and we went back and forth discussing various details and requirements. Everything I asked them to do they managed to replicate to the letter. They even gave me an intermediate CAD drawing before the final ring was cast, so as to make sure that all specifications were met. The ring came out fabulous and my wife was extremely pleased. I need 10 stars! 5 isnt enough! We were looking for a Padparadscha Sapphire for our engagement and couldn't locate one in Seattle so we flew down to LA for the day to look at Jupiter's(excellent and wonderful) selection. The logistics were seamless: lovely professionalism and courtesy plus easy communication and flexibility in scheduling the appointment. What sets this experience apart though is our experience with Krishna. His kindness, frank honesty about all aspects of our stone, purchase and his deeply personal attention to making sure we got the stone of our dreams will forever be a part of our love story. He devoted most of the day to us, we shared stories, at times in tears. Every time we speak of our time in LA together it is of one of the most beautiful experiences we could have imagined. And the stone. Oh the stone. In the end, patiently showing us stone after stone, answering our millions of questions, we purchased the most beautiful Padparadscha on the face of the planet. This rare 4ct cushion cut sapphire is simply exquisite. Krishna kept the stone to make into the ring we designed. He sent me CAD drawings back and forth until it was exactly as we desired(a halo of tiny pave diamonds extending down the split shank) and unbelievably it was shipped to us a mere week later.
