I come here a lot for a variety of things, the store is decently clean and orderly especially by Marshallâs standards. However I need to whoâs in charge of pricing for clearance because this store is out of control. This location has by far the worst priced clearance section of any Marshallâs in the area. Sometimes the discount is as little as $0.50 or $1. Thatâs borderline embarrassing for them and a little disrespectful.
SPEAKING of $0.50... Just today I got coffee syrups that were left over from the holidays. Their clearance pricing is so bad that that after a month of no one buying $5 syrups discounted to $4 (pause for laughter) theyâre all marked down to anywhere from $2 to $0.50 with no consistency on pricing. Doesnât matter the brand nor flavor one could be $2 and a similar one could be $0.50, I even saw two identical syrups, same brand same flavor, priced at one for $1 and the other for $0.70. Anyway I grabbed 3 different syrups and at the register the cashier was inspecting one of them before scanning. She was looking at the price tag and looking all around the bottle⌠it was labeled at $0.50⌠fifty cents⌠FIFTY⌠CENTSâŚ. She said she wasnât sure it was right because there was no original tag underneath⌠this is what most of the stuff back looks like at the moment⌠I told her itâs alright I donât need it and she kept it in the backâŚâŚ I can 100% guarantee when that bottle is restocked (at $0.50 đ) no one will buy it and in 2 weeks itâll go to the dumpster. Things like this are fascinating to me, the amount of plastic used to make that bottle, the amount of product in that bottle, could have been sold and used but instead will end up in a dumpster because⌠why? Because a cashier didnât believe it was labeled correct? Please⌠I am begging the staff, 1) relax 2) use common sense 3) go look at your store. Go look at the disaster that is the clearance section. Try to not contribute to unnecessary waste when someone is willing to buy an item that will otherwise soon be thrown away.
This is the problem with stores like this, everyone is a cog in the system. Practice independent thinking and use common...
Read moreThis Marshalls is perhaps the worst Marshalls in all of the state. I have been shopping here for many years since it is in my neighborhood and it was most convenient so I dealt with some things that are incomprehensible. The leadership here seems to be in combat with the concepts of basic customer service and decency to the patrons that come into the store whom most the employees treat them dismissively and at worst with hostility. I have numerous examples of them profiling, overstepping clear retail professional decorum, pejorative attitudes towards prejudged customers, and sometimes throwing unfounded accusations at people because of their own personal discomfort. I have been to Marshalls all over the country and sad to say that I will not step foot in another due to the routine racist treatment I have experienced at this one. I have never had a problem at another but this one, which so happens to be right across the street where I live has made it impossible for me to have any confidence in who I am shopping here and giving money to a company to save $ and be lazy.
My personal experience is so bad I can't recently angered me so I have compiled all the video and further evidence of their...
Read moreThe worst experience with the cashier. I took all my time to sort my things and she started throwing them away as garbage and was upset because I asked her to roll them up with paper to protect them things like other cashiers do because they needed protection because of the material so they would not be damaged and she with great anger threw my things. In the end the attitude bothered me and since she was talking and denying her job I told her why better stop working there at Marshall if she hates her job so much and I asked her about the manager and with attitude she told me she did not know. and she and the other cashier called another lady according to the manager and the only thing she told me I will talk to her this woman is not the first time I see that she has that attitude with many PEOPLE lucky it...
