Nailington — Local services in Los Angeles

Posting this as the shop has been ignoring my attempts to resolve things privately. Hit or miss, inconsistent quality of service. My first experience there, the tech did a great job. The second time was not even close the tech applied the top gel coat so thick and globby my nails looked distorted. I pointed it out and she filed the weird blobs down, which was quite painful, and they were still were off, but I feel uncomfortable constantly pointing out the deformities so I let it go. Then only 2 days later all of the gel nail polish started chipping off from the top of the nail. I’ve never had this happen before. It was super disappointing as it landed right before the holidays so I wasn’t in town to go back and show them and have it fixed. I ended up just taking all of the gel off at home. When I contacted the shop privately to resolve this situation I was met with indifference, no resolution, and eventually my messages were ignored. For years I was religious with my last nail salon until they convinced me to do hard gel and it was chipping within the week. After two weeks going back to the salon to fix one nail, I decided to find somewhere closer to home and came across nailington. The first time I came I think I had Jenny and I was going to Argentina for a month. I got back home and couldn’t come in for another week or two and they were still great (although way too grown out). Every single time my nails look amazing and never chip or come off. The girls spend way more time here than most Salons. Also hard gel has saved my nails too, I’ve never been able to grow my natural nails so long that I’m asking them please cut them way shorter! I highly recommend.

This time I had Ana and Zaya and they both were soo thorough and amazing. Helping me pick a neutral color for a vacation, and fixing the shape a little bit from what I’ve learned I like as time has gone on. I’ll definitely ask for them both...

a nice. air-conditioned, cool playlist - nail salon but that doesn't matter because my nails look awful. I know that it depends on the nail technician you get but I'm honestly turned off from the entire salon. They did a sloppy job, and they were in a super rush to do my nails. Which was nothing too hard. It was a dip removal and gel manicure, I got plain nails with no chrome no design no nothing (it's hard to mess up). The filing job was uneven, the polish chunky and not smoothly on. She made two of my cuticles bleed. The issue is that she was rushing the whole time and thus not paying attention. Getting your nails done today is becoming a luxury, I know nail technicians work really hard and likely deal with stupid attitudes all day but nonetheless, be efficient while being fair by giving the customer what they're paying for, which are...
