Absolutely atrocious customer service. It is painfully obvious that management is either completely uninvolved or has no standards whatsoever. I went in a few weeks ago to purchase a suit or rent a tux for my wedding in October. Both employees seemed to be completely incompetent. At one point I honestly thought they were messing with me and laughed, only to realize that they were being 110% serious.
I had picked out exactly what I wanted on their website only to be told that they could not get it, and then that they could and then that they weren’t sure. Ultimately, between two people they decided it could be done, but they did not have any of the items in store to try on. When asked if they could order them in for me to try on they said no, it would arrive two days before the wedding…. When asked if they had anything similar to try on to get a feel for the look I was given a shirt three sizes too big, pants that did not fasten (that were 3-4 sizes too big) and a suit jacket that was entirely too small. It honestly felt like a joke, like maybe Ashton Kutcher was gonna pop up from behind the curtain and tell me I’d been punked.
Bottom line, I went to a legitimate suit shop in Cincinnati and dropped 3.4k on a custom suit, shoes, belt, etc etc. This location lost a big sale and a customer for life. Nobody is going to order a suit for such an important occasion without being able to try it on first! I even offered to pay for two rentals OR buy the suit outright if need be, and they still wouldn’t make it happen! Somebody needs to wake up because you are...
Read moreI was asked to be the best man in my friend's wedding, and he chose a tuxedo from Men's Warehouse. First off they got the color of of our tuxedo's wrong, they were supposed to be dark gray, and they made them all solid black. We were told that all 3 tuxes could not be re-ordered and altered for the wedding that was the next day.
Second, all of us had something wrong with our suit jackets, pants, and shirts. The groom and other groomsmen had to roll up the suit jacket's sleeves since they were too long. The groomsmen's pants were also marked as a skinny fit. He's 7 feet tall and muscular. We were all measured individually, and they somehow screwed it all up. I can understand minor adjustments being needed beforehand, but you don't measure someone and give them a shirt that's longer than their arms, nor do you give a muscular guy skinny pants.
When I returned my suit to the store, the manager had told me there was nothing she could do, and it was my fault for not coming in a few days in advance to try the suit on. All 3 of us had come from out of town for the wedding, so there's no way we even could have.
Next time you want a tux or suit rented, look elsewhere. It cost me $175 total to rent the tux, the same model at Macy's is $99 on sale every other week to flat...
Read moreI walked in with zero idea what I wanted for my wedding. Cory walked me through many options/styles/color combos, and after picking the few things that were most important to me, I decided custom was the way to go (some features I wanted were not available off the rack). Everything fit perfectly, every recommendation was spot on, literally EVERYTHING Cory said was delivered as promised. He wasn't pushy, was very professional, and did everything he could to get me the best possible deal. I can't recommend Cory enough, and will be sure to come back here for any formal wear I may need in the future based on the service I received.
Also, if you're getting something for an event as important as say.. a wedding, don't expect to walk in the day before and miraculously find something that fits perfect for you. Use your brain and allot enough time to accommodate adjustments in fitting that may be needed. It amazes me how many of these negative reviews are people complaining about fitting when they showed up the day before to pick it up and didn't bother coming in a few days early...
