The 2023 Black Arts Festival was wonderful. The weather was amazing! The vendors were plentiful. They had everything from soap to jewelry to clothing. The African culture is so rich and vibrant. The food was more than outstanding. They had everything from Pop’s to Uppa Yard to Yum Yum. The atmosphere was absolutely awesome. The grown and mature crowd was fantastic. Kudos to the organizers of this outstanding event. It seemed bigger than 2022. That’s right - keep stretching...

African Drummers and dancers ONCE displayed the Spirit of the culture making their way through the Summerfest crowd from Wisconsin Avenue to the Gates! Traffic stopped. It was a sight to see.
