Target Car Park — Local services in Minneapolis

I came here because I needed dog food. The Target on top of the parking lot happened to have Nutra & is close to home. Parking is plentiful & free if you shop there. I got the dog food & some hard to find eco-friendly laundry soap sheets & a bunch of other stuff. When I got to the car, I realized I didn't have the parking voucher they give at checkout. Usually, they remind you. I thought about going back, but I was almost to the exit. I knew it would be $5 because that was the after-hours price on the other half of the parking lot, so I was kicking myself, yet not wanting to go all the way back. It wasn't $5. It was EIGHT DOLLARS ($8)!!! I was only in the store for 20-30 minutes. Yeah, I know, parking downtown...

So if you park there to go to Target, make sure you get a parking voucher. Otherwise, you might consider ordering online or having stuff delivered. That Target is...

This is a great place to park, and makes shopping at a Target easy! Exiting was not pleasant though...the attendants from both lanes were snacking and talking together in one booth. When I was in the unattended lane (clearly marked with a LANE OPEN sign), I was asked to back up and use the other lane. I politely suggested they turn off the LANE OPEN sign in the other lane. I was told first that “They don’t allow us to turn off the sign”. Then “That Lane is only for credit cards “. They did not ask how I was paying before asking me to back up.....so I know that...

How do I rate a Parking Garage? Like this I guess: Easy to get into, and out off. Very easy to get into Target and out through convenient elevators that go to both skyway levels, or street levels. Lots of space, with plenty of availability in spots to choose from. Rates are great, especially if you get them validated by Target for shopping there. Best...
