The wood on the platform ceilings looks very nice. The lighting on the station throughout is very bright. All the glass paneling throughout the platform and station mezzanine looks awesome but needs to be cleaned on a daily basis. This station, along with all others on the Astoria line are inaccessible as if no one is elderly or physically challenged. Probably one of the best subway stations throughout the system. You're featured with uncompleted buildings in the area which give off a Willy Wonka vibe. Sometimes the "Mr. Basketball Smile Guy" will board from this station which always makes my day better.
