There are not enough superlatives to describe the Joseph Battisti Salon. Joey and his team are world class and understand the needs of their clientele. As soon as I entered the UES location, I felt taken care of, my stress level de-escalated, I was offered beverage choices, and I felt heard when describing my hair wish list. My hair is graying, I had weird color combinations, and the cut was so out-of-date. I basically told him, "I trust you, just make me look like a better version of myself." Mission accomplished. The haircut is the best of my life and the color makes me feel beautiful. His assistant, Joon, took my request for shampooing with firm hands and hot water seriously. I recently was the maid of honor for my sisters wedding and I had Joey style my hair. Joey made me feel gorgeous. He was on time, extremely professional, accommodating, and made the experience fun. While the price to receive this service was high, the outcome made the investment well worth it. I have thin shorter hair and all I wanted was to have long/thick natural looking hair. Joey delivered by putting in beautiful extensions that were comfortable and stayed in all night (even through wind, dancing, and jumping). He put in beautiful curls and gave me a nice half updo.
