I moved here in April and I absolutely love the place! Now I have to relocate to California for work but I would say this is the best building I have ever lived in.
The Front Desk Team – Carlos, Gil, and many others – truly make Eagle Lofts feel like home. They always go above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and cared for. No matter the time of day or night, they are always there ready to help with anything I need.
The Maintenance Team is equally impressive. They’re quick and efficient and doing things well. Some small requests normally could be resolved by the next day or sometimes even the same day, including weekends. This is my first time living alone(before I always have some roommates), so I sometimes submit a dumb ticket over something that’s more user error than an actual issue, but the team is always super patient and happy to help, and I really appreciated all the things they have helped with.
The location was one of the main reasons I chose Eagle Lofts. Being able to commute to Midtown in just 15 minutes during rush hour has saved me so much time and made my daily commute a lot easier.
Overall it is a great community and I would definitely recommend. I know people are complaining about the constructions, but it was ongoing when I moved in and the windows are actually blocked most of the noise, so it is not an issue to me personally.

I f@cking hate it when people post a reply to make it seem as though they're fixing a problem. They're not. They're just putting on a show.
ORIGINAL POST: I have been renting in NYC for over a decade. The leasing experience with this office has been the worst experience that I have ever had.
Toured an apartment, found it OK, submitted an application with all the requested documents. Sent an email to one of their leasing agents to let them know I applied. No response. Sent a second email to another leasing agent. STILL NO RESPONSE. Called their leasing office who told me to send an email to them. So I did. AGAIN NO RESPONSE.
None of their leasing agents have phone numbers. The only number you can call is their leasing office, where their staff will try to help you. They're friendly and all, but because they are not agents, there's not much they can do.
EVERY other leasing office in LIC that I have encountered responds back within the day. Most respond back within hours. I have been waiting FOR A WEEK.
Some units sit on the market for for weeks (which can turn into months) because there's something wrong with the unit. These units sat on the market because no one's processing applications for them....

In NYC where us millennials and gen z are used to staying up late for work and social.... best change your sleep schedule to 9pm or else get ready to increase that cardiovascular risk. Conclusion : If I know this is going to happen, I would not renew my lease for $$$3900+ net (amenities and deposit..etc) just to pay luxury price and live in the middle of construction site. What's the point sipping on the green smoothie and workout if you are breathing in construction dust and dirt and dealing with poor sleep on a...
