I’ve gotten 2 gel manicures, 2 basic pedicures, and 1 scrub pedicure from this place. Gel mani - I’m happy with their gel manicure services. The tech are professional and good at polishing. Pedicure Ā - It feels rushed but again, the techs are good at polishing. Scrub pedicure - 2 days ago, my husband came along with me to get a basic pedicure, they tried to upsell to my husband and obviously, he said yes to the scrub pedicure. He said the overall experience was okay. However, he got a chemical burn between his fourth and pinky toes. It is a significant enough size that he was feeling pain every time he walks. The burn is still there 2 days later. We thought the burn might just go away but it only has becomeĀ worse. So I called them to let them know what happened. The person over the phone told me to come in and show them the burn in person, we live right above this place so we went in to show them the burn (otherwise, we would never waste time like this) and the front desk took a picture of it to send to the manager. I didn’t demand anything when we showed them the burn. I thought they would apologize and give us either a refund or store credit forĀ the service he received. The front desk told me that it's because my husband has sensitive skin and it happens sometimes toĀ people with sensitive skin. I think its ridiculous that they are treating us like it is our first time getting a spa/scrub pedicure. My husband had at least 10 spa pedicures and he never once had chemical burn. We never had chemical burn from using callus remover at home. They said that they will reimburse us for any medical bill that arises if we go see a doctor for the burn. I’m honestly offended that they said. would pay for the medical bill but they won't offer to give a refund or even a store credit. Time is money, I think that is ridiculous for them to think we have time to go see a doctor and wasteĀ 2-3 hoursĀ a medical bill reimbursed that is covered by our insurance anyway. Why would anyone pay $52+tip to get their toes brunt and suffer discomfort?

Angie did a beautiful gel French manicure and simple pedicure for me. Really impressed! Looks clean and sophisticated.

I have been going to Honey for a few months now every 2-3 weeks and so the staff knows me. I usually get regular gel manicure but this time I asked the technician Patty to create a design on my nail. Patty was SO SWEET and honestly told me that she wasn't good but she would try and thats all I wanted. BUT THE OWNER (short, brown hair) comes over and yells at Patty and says "why you dont ask me first?" And she turns to me (a frequent customer) and rudely says "if you want a design, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE". Now, I understand if a shop doesn't do design, but you can simply say this time we try, but you cannot request it in the future. But not only yell at the technician and also tell a customer to go elsewhere, but it was in the middle of the technician doing the design already. SO I HAVE ONLY ONE HAND WITH A DESIGN BECAUSE SHE WOULDN'T ALLOW THE TECHNICIAN TO DO THE OTHER. I am appalled that the owner would have such a big problem. It's not like the technician was mean to me or the customer was unhappy. And i was more than willing to pay extra and Patty did a great job. But now Honey has lost a regular customer and I hope no one has the same experience again! Side note: if Honey refuses to do designs, why are all the Google photos they post have nail designs??? False advertising much? šŸ¤”

I love Honey Nail Salon! Highly recommend Yuki but all the techs seem lovely and great too.

Salon: very clean and minimalistic, nice neon art. They have great hand and feet air dryers for whenever you do regular polish which are nicely decorated in the front of the store so you can’t even tell what they are !

Hygiene: 10/10 since they use new/sanitized products with your nails

Nail tech Yuki: she is super amazing and was so gentle with my damaged nails. Once I find a manicurist with a gentle hand, I always try to keep them in my radar and I will def be booking with her moving forward. I had Gel Xtensions on from another salon and Yuki easily removed them while protecting my damaged nails. I haven’t had the chance to give them a break yet so they are very fragile. I asked for protective nail growth serum or anything like that and she accommodated (extra $2 btw!). From the photos you can see how healthy they are looking already!

Service: great service, able to accommodate me same day and front desk was upfront about their prices before going to my tech. Chatted with me every so often, very engaging customer service :)

Update 6/27: got my gel pedicure done by Yuki again (my fav, highly recommend her!). I did a spa pedicure which includes massage, exfoliation, and callus removal, the last of which I was most interested in. She really worked at some of my hard calluses, leaving my feet SUPER smooth while still handling my feet so gently. I love this place so much! Front desk is also very nice and accommodating and the space is always so lovely and clean. 10/10 again !

Note:* They do not have Japanese gel nor do they do complicated designs, which is my preference but I definitely want to try out their gel and a simple design next time esp when they I had such amazing service...
