Elegance — Local services in New York

This store has beautiful things but when you walk in, you're not greeted, even when saying" Hello"; then you're followed around as though you're going to take something, it's definitely not due to good customer service. I saw a beautiful shawl but wasn't sure of how to wrap it and wear it. When I questioned the owner of the store, "Would you please help me, I really like this but don't know how to wear it"?, she stated, " I'm not your fashion stylist". I replied, "that's too bad, because if you would have shown me, I definitely would have purchased it".

Don't waste your time, in my opinion, with this store. If you can't be pleasant, then you don't deserve anyone's hard earned money, in order for an owner like this lady, to make a living. I will shop elsewhere, where the owner is more than happy to help me, in order to sell an item or assist me when asked. Just as the comment below, where the woman spent hundreds of dollars and found an issue with one of the items and the owner refused to assist her. Once again, this woman doesn't deserve any business.

One can find these beautiful things all over Manhattan, you just need to know we're to go. DEFINITELY anywhere in the Village i.e., ( around 14th Street).It will also be less expensive.

Very bad exchange policy on shirts!! Extremely disappointed that I spent nearly $300 this week and couldn’t exchange one of the items (shirt $158).
