This particular department is obnoxious with their air horn. For every dispatch, they just blare their horn so loud that it wakes anyone within a 2 block radius. I'm on 45th (literally two streets over) and about 30 floors up and can hear this. I don't understand why this is necessary. It's very disruptive for nearby residents who are attempting to sleep in or sleep through the night. Tell me how your emergency that's not a multi-alarm fire requires this level of annoyance and disruption to those nearby.
