My recent interaction with one of the garbage collection staff members has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I feel compelled to share my experience. The garbage man on duty displayed shocking rudeness and a complete lack of professionalism.
I brought a big packaging box to the garbage room today. The garbage man suddenly yelled at me and said I should break the box. Despite the box already being broken, but I still made an effort to flatten it further and tried to be nice. The garbage room was overcrowded with trash, and I struggled to find a suitable place for the packaging boxes. Shockingly, the garbage man provided no assistance or guidance on where to dispose of it, appearing disinterested in helping at all.
In an attempt to cooperate, I placed the packaging box near the door, assuming he could handle it after finishing his sorting duties. However, instead of addressing the situation professionally, the garbage man continued to yell at me, falsely claiming that he had given me instructions before (which is entirely untrue). This was the first time he communicated with me, and an apology would have been more appropriate if there was any confusion.
What's even more concerning is the consistent negative behavior I've observed from this staff member. Every time I take recycled trash to the trash room, he displays an angry demeanor, making the garbage disposal process unnecessarily unpleasant.
As paying residents, we expect a certain level of service and respect. No one should have to endure such unprofessionalism and rudeness while trying to dispose of their garbage. It's disappointing to hear that I'm not the only resident facing this issue.
I urge the management to address this matter urgently, as such behavior tarnishes the living experience for all residents. A swift resolution is crucial to maintain a positive and respectful...
Read moreUpdate August 9th 2021 If you are looking for a place to call your home, I am afraid this is NOT it. A few weeks ago, I parked my car in front of the building entrance unfortunately someone struck my car and caused severe damages on the driver side rear door. A note was left on my windshield without any name or phone number but contained a license plate and vehicle description. After speaking with my insurance company, it turned out the license plate number provided was not found in the database (fake number). I quickly spoke with the doorman to understand if my car was in sight of the building surveillance system. He confirmed it was however I need to speak with management to get the footage. I sent out an email immediately and called, it wasn’t until two days later someone got back to me. I was told to get the footage I needed a police report, I called the cops and they provided me a case number (granted they said it was silly that it was required since I lived in the building and the car was my property). I immediately reached out to management with the case number only to be told the police must reach out directly to them. I called the officer to get the process started (again the cops were puzzled all this was necessary but was more than willing to assist) and I completed the required paperwork. Shortly after I received an email from management a few hours later that stated that the footage was no longer available. It is so frustrating to know someone can cause damage to your property in front of your residency and your building would not want to help to bring that person to justice. Given this I would not recommend this building if you want a place that will try their best to look out for their tenants.
Maintenance service is very responsive and quick to resolve all...
Read moreRecently, we moved into 27on27 building in LIC. My wife and I have been working with Christine Yueng of the leasing office for past few weeks. It has been an absolute pleasure to deal with such a professional and “great-all-around” agent. Christine is very agile and was able to communicate with me and my wife multiple times every day of my journey of obtaining the lease contract of the new apartment. Christine is extremely dedicated what comes to help other people, she listens and she committed to make things happen. Christine is knowledgeable and sharp, she was able to answer all our questions, to provide her feedback on what we were interested in asking and to work within Management Team to finalize details that helped us to go through the process. We really appreciate for what was done for us and very thankful for Christine being very helpful. We would recommend Christine Yueng to anyone who wants to have a great experience while going through leasing process. The Concierge Team of 27on27 Building – Luis, Dylan, and Charles welcomed us with open arms. Team was very helpful during the moving in process. They were able to navigate movers and were available for us when it was necessary. Special thank you is going to Eric, superintendent of 27on27. Eric provided a comprehensive “walk-through” with all details that are needed to new tenants to know. He personally worked with us on getting things settle down. We really appreciate Eric and Concierge Team to make us...
