It’s perhaps next to Roosevelt-74th St the most important subway station in Queens and certainly the most scenic and picturesque from the 7 train platform because of recent architectural developments in LIC, and the R train platform is very charming given its being sandwiched between the subjacent and superjacent platforms. It’s very well served (M/R/E trains, not to mention the buses) and it’s very clean. F train served this station on the express track until 2001, when it rerouted to the 63rd Street Line, and replaced by the V train 🚂. The only problem I have, and it's for the nta, is them not making commuters at this station to transfer to the OTHER TRAIN LINES. It's dumb to having to wait to go into Manhattan to transfer to other trains such as the F, or 7, or W. People would have to pay $2.75 to enter the other stations if they want to hop on another train! MTA should make one big transportation hub for all trains. Overall, it's a pretty...
