After trying a variety of competitors in FiDi for my hair, I found Luxxor, which is simply fantastic!

As soon as you walk into the building, there’s an air of “old New York.” You get up to the 7th floor and enter the beautifully designed and extremely clean studio. Such a lovely experience and vibe. The staff and ownership is amazing and made me feel right at home, greeting me with a hot tea as soon as I sat down. Let’s not even mention the expertise of the team. Years and years of cut and color experience revealed themselves as they worked through the entire process with me, educating me about the methods and process along the way. It was really just a shockingly lovely experience. I left smiling bigger than when I came in, especially after the unbelievable highlights and haircut they did.

If you’re going anywhere but here for cuts and colors, start going to Luxxor...

I recently moved to battery park from Tribeca. I found Luxxor online and figured I’d try a blowout. It was hands down the best blowout of my life. It was so good and so professional, I decided I’d try highlights/color here. Mind you- I’ve done my color at Rita Hazan for years, and then Jenna Perry when I moved downtown. So it was a big deal for me to trust someone blindly based on how excellent my first experience at the salon was. Again- 10/10 for color. Alan took his time and was meticulous with every strand of my hair. This color is the best color I have EVER had. I get compliments every single day. My hair is also so incredibly healthy without any breakage. I’m a dermatologist, so I’m always wary of hair-damage. This team is outstanding and will never go anywhere else for hair services again. I am thrilled with how I look and feel....

I recently went to this salon to fulfill my long time dream of having my hair dyed red! After a previous experience of half of it getting deep fried in bleach and turned into goo at a different salon, I was a little bit nervous walking in here and asking to have my hair colored once more. Alan was welcoming and warm, and incredibly patient with all of my questions about the process and what I was looking for. He also guided me and gave me advice on what would be the healthiest option for my hair while still achieving the look that I wanted. The results were incredible, and so much more than anything that I was expecting. Everyone in the salon was very friendly, and the entire experience was one that I greatly enjoyed. I will be coming back again to continue caring...
