There are many issues with this market. Shoppers are forced to check in their bags at the door. You have to deal with a few untrained and unprofessional workers who are unfocused. They act as if they are doing you a favor when you ask for their help. They are not alert. In the manager’s office a child was seen looking out of the window. Is there a daycare center there? On a few occasions, I’ve purchased items that expired well before the expiration date.Someone can get sick. Food poisoning!!!! I was able to get a refund on a spoiled meat item but was met with extreme opposition when returning yet another foul smelling meat item. The night manager was a disgrace and very insulting. He refused to exchange the item or a refund my money. He humiliated me. Why does the owner allow this behavior to continue? Selling meat that goes bad well before the expiration date is an unsafe practice. The place is run like a social club with cashiers on their phones and a few having side bars as you try to check out. Where are you finding these workers? On many occasions I’ve noticed the price tag on the product doesn’t translate at the register. I’ve been met with derision and smirks. Are background checks done on these characters? Are these workers being vetted? I know customers that have complained about being talked about in Spanish at the register. Are these cashiers so incompetent and ignorant to the fact that Non-Hispanics/Non-Latinos speak Spanish also? What these workers fail to understand is that they need to do their job and discontinue fraternizing. How about their profiling of black community members who are treated as perps when they enter the store? Or their disdain for anyone other than Latino?...

My family and I experienced harassment and discrimination that made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Despite the store's convenient location, the behavior we encountered was unacceptable. Furthermore, when I requested the corporate number, I faced unnecessary resistance. The prices at this store are exorbitant, possibly influenced by the location. On top of that, the food quality is inconsistent, with instances of spoiled and moldy items. The customer service is also inconsistent; some staff members are friendly, others are rude. Moreover, the staff seems to fabricate stories when asked about restroom access, which is concerning. Introducing security personnel who inconsistently check bags at the entrance adds to unease. These experiences have led me to shop elsewhere, such as at BJ's, where prices and a wider variety of available items are more reasonable. Read moreMy daughter was harassed on her way out of the store like a common thief. She was chased down by the security guard after she'd already gotten out of the store, cart taken away along with possessions. Receipts were provided as she'd gone back around to buy some juice, the cashiers said she'd paid, and security wouldn't allow her to leave. None of them would talk to her about what they thought she stole, nor would they even bother to speak in English to her as she doesn't understand Spanish.
Only when her other mother arrived was there anything even explained. To top it off, the men were laughing at her in a corner while she was in absolute tears.
Five items. Juice, chicken, baking soda, pepsi and cookies. She had receipts for it all and had actual employees saying she was fine, but was held. Then they tried to make her leave with only the juice after taking her picture like they were going to put it up on the wall of those disallowed.
