Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out on the tread, MHRC is a super welcoming and energizing place. I've brought friends who walk in pegging themselves as 'not a runner,' and leave very excited to come back!! My favorite classes are taught by Coach Raj (upbeat & amazing music, no two classes are the same), but try out all the coaches & class types to really get the feel for everything offered. I walk out of each session feeling insanely accomplished (and very sweaty!!). I owe it to the folks at MHRC for completing my first half marathon. You seriously become a better runner at this place, no matter your starting point.

I am used to boutique studios like Barry's Bootcamp and felt like this was a lot more self-guided than those, but just as energizing. There wasn't a moment that I felt like slacking because the instructor was great and the class was small. I also think the running guide on the treadmill is helpful for someone that does not know what a low or high run should be for their level. Read moreMy absolute favorite workout studio in all of NYC! The classes are amazing and high-energy, and each instructor has a different style of focusing on speed, intervals, hills. I specifically love having Ned or Raj as my instructor! They provide a lot of guidance and encouragement for runners of all different experience levels + great music.
