Found Don through word of mouth. NYC needed a friendly, knowledgeable and professional scooter go to shop. Don had advised on a problem I had been dealing with on my scooter. We spoke, setup an appointment and I visited his shop with my ride. He resolved an issue with my headset by performing a rebuild and my scooter rode like brand new all over again. This guy is a scooter engineer. Dealing with Don and the process for the repair was easy. If you need any scooter work done, I highly recommend him - you won't regret it. Thank you Don!!!

Following up on my first review (writing a second separate review isn't possible). NYCPEV has once again exceeded my expectations with their professionalism and knowledge with scooters. I recently had my Dualtron Thunder headset worked on by Don and the scooter feels brand new. The DT Ultra is in the shop now getting some long overdue attention. After researching for over a year trying to find the best quality scooter on the planet I ran across a company called Mini Motors. Only problem was they are in New Jersey and I’m in Manhattan. Continued doing research and ran across NYC PEV. They had a website and had videos on YouTube and a phone number to call. That was a start. Even though it was 1 am in the morning, I texted the number and wanted to schedule an appointment to more information and a test drive. The owner Don texted me back and we agreed on a time to stop by. Very easy to get to. Very safe. Smack dab in the middle of midtown Manhattan. After asking thousands of questions I wanted a test drive and was granted the request. I WAS SOLD ON MY FIRST RIDE! I told him to rap one up for me. For those of you who's looking for a "Minimotors" subbranch, this is not the place to go to. I bought a Dualtron Victor at Minimotors in New Jersey, and had some really minor issues that need some fix around. New Jersey is a bit too far so I went to this "minimotor NYC". They charged $30 for two screws, and was asking for another $125 for a minor minor fix. However, I went to the one at New Jersey and had everything fixed for free under 20 minutes. Also, the staffs at New Jersey told me that this "Minimotors" is not official. Don't get me wrong, by non-official I mean they are not the "minimotors" that the Dualtron is working with. I don't want to say things like "this store uses this name to trick people into coming so that they can charge them way more than they should", but if "Minimotor" is what you're looking for, don't come to this place.
