I don't agree with others saying this is a crispy crust. (Joe's is crispy; this is not, unless reheated in the oven for too long.) It's easily foldable exactly how it should be. A crispy crust would crack a little when folding. Not the case here. The dough creates a flavorful crust, soft yet firm and slightly chewy. They put the right amount of cheese and sauce on it. It is cooked evenly and not burnt. The only issue you might have here is that the slice may not be warm when you order it because it's not a super popular spot, likely because of where it's located. I think the mark of a good pizza is that even if it's not warm, it still tastes good. That's the case with this pizza. This slice is far superior to Joe's Pizza which these days is almost always overcooked and burnt. Seriously, Joe's is awful. You can do better.

My mom was visiting last week from Florida and requested that we take her for a real New York City slice. Stop by this spot to get a few slices and loved trying some other dishes they’re serving up! Really love the chicken Parm — totally fresh and huge! They even got fried calamari, garlic knots as well as flan & Zeppoli for dessert Great spot for a quick power lunch in the neighborhood

Delicious pies 🍕🍕 New Yorkers take their pizza real serious... probably a little too serious. Don't come looking for an exact crust to cheese ratio, uniform sizes of toppings, or anything fru-fru like that Pizza is incredibly edible, but you wouldn't think so based on New Yorker's complaining all the time.
