QLIC Apartment Rentals — Local services in New York

When I moved into this apartment, I ordered a 60' TV but the TV was broken so I need someone to pick it up. And I asked Elana whether I can put the huge empty box in the storage room or mailing room for two days until somebody come to pick. She said no place to put and didn't allow me to put in the hallway. My apartment is small, and in a mess when we just moved in. She told me"if you can't find a place in your apartment I can ask the guys to clean up a space in your apartment to put the box." I was so shocked that she said that... another thing is I want to change the name on the lease because one person is leaving and another person want to come. She told me I have to go through the application again for adding a new person. So we go though the application again, I sent all the documents to her and paid the application fee online. After we did everything, she said we can't change the name until the lease ends. We were so frustrated that if you can't change the name on the lease at the time, you should let us know!!! We wouldn't pay the application fee again and waste a lot of time to prepare the documents! At that time, she is the only one working in the building management office. I have no one to talk to the problem! Besides those, other people who work here...

If you're looking for affordable luxury at a stones throw to the city then QLIC is the way to go. From in-unit washing machines, 24 hour reception, package pickup, dry cleaning and maid services, game room + screening room, pool, roof-deck bbq's with incredible views of the city, on-site gym and fitness classes, storage rooms, clothing donation bins to even a dog washing spa, this place has accounted for every facet of life. Plus, the tall ceilings and terraces on many units are an added bonus. But the staff here is what takes the cake - Juan at the reception is super friendly and helpful, and most maintenance issues are fixed same day. The apartment manager Iliana is also prompt in her replies and the building maintenance folks do a great job in keeping the place spotless and safe. Originally, I came for the promise of a commute-in-a-flash but then I stayed for the incredible array of time-saving luxury ammenties. I'm sort of surprised that QLIC doesnt only have glowing reviews - truly a well...

We love love love this building. Our one bedroom apartment is decent size with dishwasher/washer/dryer in unit. The building has tons of amenities that are already included in your rent and amazing views. QLIC front desk/mail room/maintenance staff is super friendly and helpful. They maintain the building very well and keep it sparkling clean. We are finishing our first lease and can’t be happier with our choice.

UPDATE: we are now on our fifth lease since my previous review and can’t be happier. Everything I mentioned years ago still stands. Our experience is still the same and its superb! The building, amenities and especially staff are the best you can get. This year they also made some improvements to the roof deck and lounge/game room. Monthly breakfasts have also resumed since the covid. QLIC is the best...
