I LOVE SANTÉ LASER! I have always struggled with ingrown hairs, so I finally decided to take the plunge and try laser hair removal. At first I was nervous because I have type 6 (dark) skin and I've heard some horror stories from darker skinned women like myself but Santé is amazing––Brown and Black ladies in NYC, look no further! Nastasia quelled my fears and told me about her YAG laser which is suitable for my skin. I have gone for 4/6 of my sessions and WOW the results are incredible! The process itself is super quick (about 20 minutes for brazilian and underarms) pretty painless (I think waxing hurts much more). Nastasia is super personable and takes her time to make sure she is giving the best treatment possible. After my four sessions I hardly have to shave! Seriously, I was getting waxes every three weeks and now I can go the entire 6 weeks between appointments and shave once IF that (honestly the hairs are so sparse I don't think they're even noticeable to anyone else!). I rarely write any review. But here I could not resist to write. I was a little bit scared to do laser hair removal because I thought it will hurt, or my skin will look terrible while I do the whole program. But when I came I got all the information I needed. First, about laser machine (which is super new) , then about process and how it works without damaging my skin - hair will grow and fall out naturally!!! Then the laser machine was not hurting me at all! By the way I was planning to spend 1 hour - but actual process took Max 5 min. But I spent most of the time asking the question before the procedures. Anastasia was so attentive and nice, she gave me as much time as I needed to explain process, answering my questions (which I had a lot) I I never felt that she is rushing me to start actual processes. As someone who has gone to her fair share of spas , beauty establishments, etc- I can honestly say Santé provides real quality service. The staff are incredibly accommodating, and aim to make clients as comfortable as possible during the procedure. Anastasia is my go-to. She is mindful throughout the session, and doesn't try to prolong the hair removal process, as other places do in order to get you to purchase more sessions. She checks in with you, and aims to give you the best results. I can honestly say I am very pleased with my results ( more satisfied than I imagined!)
