The Webster Soho — Local services in New York

My experience here was unpleasant. I have come to this store before pre Covid and after never experienced how I was treated . First me and my partner entered the security guard opened door looked around on first floor for a bit . The security guard asked which floor we would like to go on . We go to I believe the 2nd floor which is has women’s shoes and clothing. Jessica was rude in my opinion she said that we had to wait for a stylist couldn’t go on another floor without an attendant (stylist) . At first I was like okay no problem . Than I thought about it and we stood by elevator multiple ppl where in it un attended by a stylist going to another floor . Mind you there was a whole group when we got up to the men’s floors . From the looks of it had no stylist there to watch over or assist . For that reason I was ready to go . The prejudgment and lie that was told was more than enough for me to not want to spend any money . Especially since when you know commission is involved. I don’t spend my money where I’m made to feel uncomfortable. There’s always other options .In the past I have come to this store during visits to NYC and it’s always pleasant . This...

Horrendous behavior from staff! Planned to meet my friend there yesterday and she was running 20 mins late. Sales associate asked if she could help me and I told her I was waiting for my friend. I was then followed around on the first floor by security while I browsed. Once my friend arrived we ventured to other floors. When we were leaving there was some type of fake single beep and security said he had to check our bags. There was no real alarm just a single fake beep that they no doubt set off so they could check us and of course they found nothing. Nothing like this has EVER happened to me before and I just wish I had called it out in the moment. There are far better luxury retailers to go to if you want a real luxury experience. They are awful. It's a very small store with extremely limited selection. You could skip it. Kirna Zabete is near by and...

What an awful store. An associate by the name of Jose was unbelievably rude even hung up the phone on me when I attempted to make a purchase over the phone since I’m over going in the store. I was trying to avoid an in-store experience given that the Webster has horrendous customer service.

officially will never shop at The webster! This is my nearest luxury store that gives me variety. They are unbelievably rude to their customers and their merchandise is quite dated.

I wish they would just close this New York location already so we can get a better store. They don’t have their customers, they are races, pretentious, and just plain out disgusting.
