I've been going to this barber shop for 10 years, and I have to say that I'm thoroughly impressed. The quality of the haircuts is exceptional, and I always leave feeling like a new man. East 6th Street Barber have been in the East Village since i can remember, and i have been in the neighborhood since 2006.

The main folks at the East 6th Street Barber is Mike, my barber. Danny, our buddy and barber, and Joseph, another barber.

I have known these guys since i moved into the hood in 2006. These 3 guys are the nicest and best barbers in all of NYC, in my opinion.

They always have smiles on their faces even as busy as they get. They are also funny with their jokes and whatnot.

The appointment books for these 3 are filled everyday for every appointment.

East 6th Street Barber Shop is clean, neat, tidy, and warm & cozy. They are always very professional and the shop is maintain likewise.

Been going here for 6 months now ever since I started working downtown. I'm very particular about my haircuts. I have zero complaints from this place. Avi is my barber and cuts like a master! Mike (1st Chair) is also very good.

Quality of Cuts: Excellent. Customer service: Welcoming, accommodating and very friendly. Appointments: Yes but also take walk-ins. Price: $17 for a regular cut (Ask for First Time Discount).

Ps. I've walked into other barbershops where if you're not a regular, they make you feel unwanted, give you looks or just treat you like an inconvenience. This place IS NOT one of those.
