I normally do not bother writing reviews but in this case I decided to make the effort because I found the treatment that I received to be extremely rude and borderline abusive by a girl called Leslie. The mother and other staff were polite but that person definitely has some issues going on and if I treated any of my clients like she does, I would not have any. The first time I came I had chipped nails from a different salon and Leslie (who I believe is the owner as well) told me I needed a whole new manicure if I wanted a gel manicure. Fair enough I thought and decided to get it. The bill in the end was over $240 dollars (without any tip) for a normal first time gel manicure with some jewlery on it and gel lack. She did NOT inform me that some sparkle that she put on cost an extra $30 and I had to correct two items that were charged that I never askd for. I was a little bit upset about the non transparency of that price and also about the fact that she kept loudly conversing in chinese with her co-workers for 2.5 hours but I thought she did a good job and did not say anything. The manicure looked great and I decided to give it another try.
The second time I came I "just" did a refill of the gel, which was also around $100 and one nail broke within a week of having it. I came back and the replacement cost an extra $15 although in my opinion, good customer service would have been to replace it free of charge since it broke within the week of getting it. It took her 10 minutes to replace it because all she did was glue a fake nail on and put gel lack on it.
When it was time to redo everything, I again decided to give this one more try because I liked the jewelry art she did on my nails, but I actually very much regret this decision and giving this woman or salon any of my money at all.
The third time I came, she made me get a whole new set of gel nails again (which she glued on btw) and any question I would ask her (can it be a little bit shorter? can you please be careful with my nail skin in the back because I would like to not damage my nails?) became an issue and she would lash out at me in a very aggressive manner. The rudest action was when she glued a jewelry piece onto my left index finger and it moved while drying so I politely asked her if she would mind to fix it (since now it was not in the middle anymore but completely moved to one side of the nail) to which she replied " yes, actually I DO MIND" while rolling her eyes. I stood my ground at that point and said "well, I also mind paying over $150 for this for it then to be messed up right in the beginning so please redo it if you may". Reluctantly she did and ironically it took her exactly 5(!) minutes.
Moral of the story- I gave this salon multiple chances because I liked the style of the nails (eventhough it was very expensive in my opinion) but I would never recommend her to anyone because she is simply not a nice person and needs to learn how to be more respectful towards her clients. The durability of their manicures has been a game-changer for my nail health. In the past, I struggled with constant chipping and lifting, which often led to my nails popping or peeling off. Now, my natural nails are the longest and healthiest they've ever been. Their work is impeccable and lasts for weeks--a true testament to their exceptional skill.
From the moment I arrived, Vivi made the experience truly special. She is incredibly talented and patient, working meticulously on my manicure and pedicure. The results were flawless and far exceeded my expectations. Even though I was there for two hours, the time flew by because the service was so enjoyable and relaxing. Despite being busy, the salon has a remarkable way of making every client feel valued and cared for.
What truly sets Unlimited apart are the thoughtful touches that make the experience unforgettable. I loved the soothing jelly beads in the pedicure baths and appreciated the paraffin wax heel treatment--luxurious details that show how much they care about their clients' comfort. The salon is immaculate, beautifully designed, and radiates positive energy, thanks to the owner's hands-on involvement in creating such a welcoming environment.
I can't wait to return in December--this time with my daughter, so she can enjoy her own incredible experience! Read moreI got a UV gel manicure that started peeling off on several nails within just 3 days—one even popped off while I was typing. I went back to the salon to have it fixed, but the staff was completely unprofessional. They couldn’t remember the color they had originally used, and instead of taking responsibility, they blamed me for not “taking care” of my nails properly.
The re-done nail not only didn’t match in color, but the quality was still very poor. I spent nearly $180, and the manicure didn’t even last a week—yet I was treated like I was at fault. Unbelievable.
On top of that, the overall attitude in the shop was rude. Scheduling was chaotic, and the way they spoke to customers, including me, was dismissive. I even witnessed another customer who came in to fix a botched nail being treated poorly—no smile, wrong color again, and rough handling—just because she wasn’t paying again for the salon’s own mistake.
The staff lacked professionalism, patience, and respect. Communication in English was also difficult. A very disappointing experience. I won’t be returning, and I absolutely would not recommend this...
