High point: Excellent customer service from Sean in the showroom; he was friendly, very thorough with his product knowledge, and helped me make an informed purchase.

Low point: While the delivery men were prompt and courteous — wasting no time in setting up my new mattress and power base — two problems emerged toward the end: First, the lead person had some difficulty in disassembling my old bed frame, and kept having to return to the truck for different tools. He finally told me that “we don’t usually do this” [as part of the service]— which was awkward, and it took me by surprise, making me feel as though they were doing me some great favor (even though I certainly intended to pay for it). Then on the way out he requested $30 for hauling the old bed frame, and when I asked who to make the check to, he just said “cash.” So that bit just came across to me as a little offhand and impromptu — but would not really have affected this review had I not realized after they left that they had not delivered the fancy bed skirt I also bought. And since I didn’t want to wait making up the bed until they brought it, I just drove to Newport (50 miles round trip) to pick it up at their showroom. Not a big deal, but inconvenient at the end...

This place is worth your money! I have spent the last 40+ years sleeping on beds that were hand me downs. Once you get a curtain age you realize you spend at least 1/3 of your day In bed with a pillow.

Took my wife here (who has a bad back). After looking around and talking with the dude on the floor, and laying on different mattresses, we realized we needed one bed but one side needed firm, one needed plush. Dude hooked us up with a perfect fit that just so happened to be on sale. Buy one side get one for only $100.

Then we got a state of the art base that massages / raises and lowers back and legs / and a anti snore position / zero g position for people like me who work on there feet. Hooked us up with a awesome price and we got custom pillows his / her. I liked the cooling side sleeper, she likes the side sleeper firm.

What a great experience. Thank you Chuck for giving me the space I needed but close enough to pick your brain. I went into America's Mattress of Newport being pretty sure they were not going to have the mattress for me because I had been everywhere else in town and beyond and on line shopping for a mattress with no luck.
