Food is great but the staff is not as great. My wife and I spent a good amount here on fudge and a stuffed animal for our little one. The girl helping us was very nice, then an older woman asked my wife if she just printed the hundred dollar bill that she was paying with, stating that she also works at a bank.
The cashier continued to ring us up, then this woman (must be the shift or day manager) scolds the girl for not checking that the money is counterfeit. Then she tells us that not a lot of people take hundreds because theres lots of counterfeiting.
While I totally understand the need to check, and have no problem with it at all, there are way better ways about this that don’t involve demeaning my wife or making a scene out of it in front of other customers. Read moreMiddle aged woman working the counter was rude and unprofessional. She yelled out to another customer that her mask had fallen down and to either fix it or she “needed to get out”. After the customer and her boyfriend left the woman proceeded to talk badly about that customer to me, saying “how do you not know your mask came off” and so on. They have a small selection of pick your own candy. Location is obviously on the boardwalk but I don’t remember at what street. Parking is chaotic for anywhere at the shore.
