Ocean Treasures — Local services in Ocean City

Sadly my daughter decided to use her babysitting money to buy a sweatshirt at this store. She managed to get some drops of water ice on it the same night. She took it off, blotted the spots with a cold rag and then put a little shout stain remover on the areas and we placed it in the washer. Well, water ice came out but so did the color in those areas on the sweatshirt. I have used Shout stain remover on many articles of clothing having 3 children and never experienced the color coming out of a product. I phoned the store and the owner answered. I let her know our experience with this sweatshirt product. It was no skin off her back, she had already made her profit. Very poor customer service. Poor...

The hermit crabs are treated incredibly poorly. The tiny cages that they sell are horribly insufficient; it’s is supposed to be 10 gallons per crab. Some are barely scraping one gallon. I feel bad every time I see a kid with one because they don’t even know the cruelty that they are taking part in. All the dried sea stars in there are picked from the ocean, and it made me very sad to see how many there were. Please, think twice and do your own research before buying a living creature. I’m not asking for much all that I do ask for is to maybe offer an informational pamphlet that says some basic information about hermit crab care, and to do some of your own research. Ocean City boardwalk has all kinds of stores. Some of them are like shopping at a mall. There also one of a kind stores of all kinds. But there are also typical T shirt and boardwalk stores that sell T- shirts, swim suits, cover ups , boogie boards, sand buckets and toys for children, surf boards, and beach supplies. We usually go to OC at the end of the season when things are on sale. T Shirts are now 14.00 at the end of the season they will be 5.00 but in my condition I can't too soon go back so I had to get T shirts having not packed enough because I usually pack too much.
