This is for William and Kayle, The two Chefs on duty. I'm in my 70's, when I go to a restaurant I expect my meal to exceed my own cooking! With only a few exceptions in the Salt Lake City area, I've been disappointed. Now when I go out, it's only to celebrate my wife's birthday, and then I just expect a normal nice meal. Well, imagine my surprise at the Magic I was about to experience. There were 4 of us, my wife and I, her sister and husband. The Host, Waitress and atmosphere was calm, professional and evidence of a management that cares. My one and only criticism, the menu, the font was hard for this old man to read. My wife snapped a photo with her cell phone and then enlarged it. . . Now, let's get to the Magic. I was overwhelmed with repeated "How did they do this?" First, the Mussels themselves were eclipsed by the broth and "filling", and once devoured, I broke bread into the broth and shed a tear when there was no more. Second, I hate it when restaurants try to make fry sauce "fancy", and sure enough there in front of me was "fancy" fry sauce. With hesitation I dipped a fry and Wow, another taste of magic, "How did they do this?". Third, My sister in law offered me a taste of her risotto, This magic melted in my mouth, and again I'm pondering "How in the hell, did they do this?". . . I'm a huge mashed potato fan and snob, knowing this, my wife offered me a taste of what I assumed was sweet potatoes or squash, turned out, it was magical mashed potatoes and my Fourth, "How did they do this?". . . Obviously, This is what happens with the right combination of management that cares, and creative Chefs allowed to work magic. It's been forever, since I've been this impressed. Thank you for a dining experience that far exceeds any of my humble...
Read moreDining at Graden Grill was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire evening. It's rare to find a team so in sync—each server moved with care and professionalism, anticipating our needs without ever feeling overbearing.
What truly set the night apart was the surprise visit from the head chef. Midway through our meal, Chef Josh came out to personally greet our table, ask about our experience, and talk briefly about the inspiration behind some of the dishes. It was a thoughtful and sincere gesture that made us feel valued as guests and added a whole new level of appreciation for the food we were enjoying.
Speaking of the food—every bite was a delight. The fish and chips was cooked to perfection, with flavors that were layered, balanced, and clearly made with intention. The presentation was stunning, and the ingredients were fresh and high quality. The dessert, a bread pudding, was the perfect end to a flawless meal.
Between the outstanding cuisine, impeccable service, and the warm, personal touch from the chef, Garden Grill has earned a top spot on our list of favorites. We left full, happy, and already planning...
Read moreHonestly this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The food was all extremely low quality and horribly prepared. The chicken tenders were obviously were from a bag along with the fries and both were cold when they were brought to the table; the pizza was on an obvious premade crust and that had the toppings on the bottom and the cheese on top so when you would take a slice all the cheese would come off; the vegetable pasta was not only pre frozen but the sauce was gross and the tomatoes were rotten; the steak was not a NY steak as the menu said (I works in a meat department while going through college so I can tell from the way it looks and feels) it was a sirloin and it was prepared horribly. I highly doubt this chef has any experience in the kitchen. I want to be clear if I was at IHOP or Denny’s I would expect to get this quality for those prices but when you are charging $30-50 a plate and your food is worse then those places to me that’s a problem. Now to the service the server came to the table 3 times the whole meal to take our order, give us our food, and bring the check. That was it and funny enough never once asked how the food was probably because he knew. Honesty save your money and go to one of the other...
