Idk what happened last night but the cocktail waitress at tiki with the baby girl neck tattoo had us kicked out because we ASKED FOR THE DRINKS WE PAID AND TIPPED FOR after waiting for like 30 minutes. Not only did she not believe us, she made us show proof of payment, like okay? After 30 minutes of STILL not bringing us our drinks she proceeded to try and pawn off two beers and a shot of tequila on us that were “extra” from the bar. I overheard another cocktail waitress explaining to her that they were for a table on the lower level and you could tell that our waitress was visibility irritated that she was off her game. It was at this point I could tell she was “in the weeds” and needed some assistance. She FINALLY came over with our drinks and dropped off an extra shot of tequila. I overheard the same competent cocktail waitresses from before saying that she was missing the two beers & that that was her shot for her table so i picked it up and handed it to ”baby girl” and said here girl this is your shot for that table she’s talking about, you gave us an extra.. Not even 2 minutes later, mind you RIGHT AFTER RECEIVING THIS $70 round of drinks, security then comes up and says we need to leave cause we were causing problems. L O L
We were not allowed to finish our drinks, we were forced to leave and I still NEVER received my virgin drink that I paid for.
The only one causing problems was “baby girl” & to imply that I was, sober, asking for the round we paid for was ridiculous. (I wasn’t ordering myself alchohol, I was in a group.) lol
Regardless, Will NEVER visit this...
Read moreWent here to check it out. I was excited to find a Tiki bar and figured they would have a solid Mai Tai front and center on the menu. They have a Mai Tai but it's not anything special. The menu doesn't even say what's in it other than fruit juices and rum. I'd give them a pass on the but the staff is awful.
First they card everyone as you walk in (I'm 58 years old, give me a break!)
Second, the bartenders were the most unfriendly group I've encountered in decades. It literally costs nothing to greet a customer with a smile and make them feel welcome. If that's what you're looking for, spend your time and money somewhere else. My wife asked a question about a drink and the bartender said "all of our drinks are good" in an annoyed tone as if it bothered her to answer a question.
I say all this as a former bartender in both large clubs and fine restaurants.
This place has potential, but I don't think they will ever...
Read more1st time for my husband and I visiting OKC. We decided to walk around Bricktown. Tipsy Tiki looked promising due to the nice decoration, cool music, and great location. Our waitress, Kennedy, was not the friendliest person to deal with... she looked annoyed by us. We ordered 2 Vodka and Cranberry (doubles). Our drinks were super weak. Pretty disgusting. We told our waitress how dissapointed we were, specially when we asked four doubles... she brought to the table a half shot of vodka and stated she will have to charge us for that $7.00 extra. We ended up paying almost $40.00 for 2 disgusting drinks... I wish I would have read the reviews before spending my money here. It is incredible how the owner and/or the manager don't do anything to fix this. I DO NOT...
