The vintage, pin-up, 40s/50s era is so beautiful and elegant. I am a shopper, and always looking for cute outfits. Anyways, I don’t often visit this shop bc I can feel the negative vibe and I was right! Prior to making my way here, the sales rude and lack of charisma red hair lady, said via telephone the dress I wanted was available in my size. So I made the drive, I get to the shop just to find the dress is not available in my size but a different one was. I tried the dress, the experience here was bad, I was asked to remove all my clothes, so she can help. Very uncomfortable request! With such a mad face and horrible tone! Why would you ask me to do this? I almost did not wanted to try the dress anymore. I’m dress shopping not at a doctors office! The dress I wanted was on display on size S, so I kindly asked if I could try the display model. This lady said “No, I am not taking the dress off the Mannequin.” W/ a real bad tone as if this question set her off. So I left. Why the need to make customers feel uncomfortable? W/ rude attitude, uncomfortable requests. I drove for 1hr just to come to find the dress I want, I can’t try bc it’s on the mannequin?
Please be kind, enjoy being in a wonderful business where people can feel beautiful.
I’m glad I did not buy the dress, I found a dress very similar, great quality, for the fraction of the price.
My advice, keep shopping, look at all your options, don’t settle for less, especially when people are use to mistreat others for whatever or no reason.

Read moreI walked by this shop a few time loved the dress but never went in till today. My mom and I were looking for dresses to wear for a tea party. I thought one of there dresses would be perfect for the occasion. We went into the shop there was one of the lady behind the counter talking to someone else and there was another lady just walking around (don't know if it was a employee, customer or friend ) . While my mom was in the dressing room the lady from the counter came over. Was suprise that my mom was trying on a dressing. Saying we weren't post to try on dresses without her knowing. She had to know who was in there and what dresses they had on. (I get it,but the chain on the dressing room wasn't close and there was no sign we saw saying we couldn't.).. she also told us she didn't even see us walk in blah blah ( what do you want us to be like "HELLO WE ARE IN YOUR STORE ") I ended finding a dress I wanted to try on so I went up to her to get "help". At this time another employee showed up and she had the other employee "help" me. (Because it so hard to walk over to move the chain over, just kinda felt she was annoyed wit me). We just ened leaving. After the interactions with the lady over the counter the shop lost it spark. Just killed the mood and felt uncomfortable.
Short version: your not welcome, you are interrupt the employee from chatting with each other. No customer service...
Read moreI went in today to see if they had any prom dresses and when finding a few I liked I asked an associate to help me, she asked what size I was and I said usually I’m a small. She then looked me up and down and told me I look like I would be bigger than that. I told her that I am A small and she seemed reluctant to hand it to me. Finally, I got her to lace it up and everything for me and the entire time I was wearing it she was just telling me that it was way too small. Like an hour later, I came back in because I had saw another dress that I liked when passing by and I asked her what size shoe she would recommend for me, She then again looked me up and down and told me I would have to size up to a 6 (previously has tried on a 2) And then I tried it on and it was too big and I Asked for a four. Once again, she then looked me up and down and told me she didn’t think I would fit into anything smaller And asked me why I think I need to size down and I said because I know I don’t fit into this dress it’s too big. She then rolled her eyes and reluctantly went and grabbed me the other size. I felt very uncomfortable because basically the entire time I was in there, she was alluding to the fact that I was “too” fat to fit into anything. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it if you aren’t an extra small because you obviously aren’t gonna be welcome here.
