Walgreens — Local services in Orlando

This is a huge Walgreens. The only thing that is slightly irritating is that it actually does NOT have a pharmacy, or at least, it didn't around the time that almost all of the Walgreens locations on International Drive seemed to do away with their pharmacies, and almost EVERY store that used to be 24 hours changed to closing by 9 or 10 p.m. every night. As far as I know, these things have not changed, so I feel that it is safe to assume this location no longer has a pharmacy. They should change their signage. It does, however, have a luggage department in the back where I am assuming the pharmacy USED to be. This is probably because there are several isles filled with souvenirs, toys, and other various products targeted for the vast amounts of tourists who fill the hotels, resorts, and theme parks surrounding the store. This made shopping a tad chaotic for me, a local, who usually was stopping by to pick up something quick. I never spent more than 10 minutes in this location. No matter what hour it was, the two cash registers at the front of the store were backed up with lines that often took upwards of 30 minutes. Besides that, the store is usually clean and somewhat organized. It's a huge location, so they have basically whatever Walgreen's merch you are looking for, and if they don't, chances are they have something similar enough to satisfy. The employees were usually kind, but it is hard for them to help customers or provide any kind of customer service when they are tasked with ringing up never-ending lines. Walgreens is good location, could definitely step up this location it’s really run down considering the area . Also there is a lot of random products they put under lock and key which means you constantly have to find and wait for a service person to help you. But the staff is always very nice and very helpful and the prices are all right . Well organized and clean.

Extremely convenient, lots of parking, relatively large for a Walgreens. It's always clean & generally organized.

The staff is really nice & if a cashier is busy, usually another will come to the rescue.

Yes the lines May be long but they’re servicing a big tourist population in this location that’s heavily populated with immigrants of various languages. The pharmacists and techs are very kind and understanding. Doing the best they can with what they are provided. People should practice a little more patience instead of thinking each pharmacist is only here to serve them and fulfill their meds. Language barrier between clientele and the pharmacists don’t make it easier for them. They’re pretty efficient and fast given the circumstances.

I love the fact that this Walgreens is A 24 hour store! And a great well stocked one at that. It's hard to find one that has both, I've come to find. It has an awesome selection of beauty products, which is mainly what I go to Walgreens for, or any drugstore for, for that matter. This particular location is a bit of a drive from my house, I actually drive past a few other locations in the area that are lesser rated, just to get to this one!
