I thought long about this before actually writing a review because I did frequent this store for almost 8 years and bought over a dozen pieces from here both custom and ready to wear. Last week I came in because my boyfriend and I are looking for engagement rings and I was adamant about buying it from Leon because I loved his work. We went in excited and Leon himself came out to speak to us and I thought to show me some stones and settings. I told him as soon as I came in “ I’m only interested in natural diamonds” as a girl, we dream about this moment and know exactly what we want, this was supposed to be such a nice moment. He immediately started giving me a speech about cvt& lab grown diamonds, which I respectfully told him I wasn’t interested in. He didn’t listen and kept going about the speech, when I said it a second time, he looked at me and said “ that’s okay, you’re still young” as if I just didn’t know any better because I’m in my 20s which felt degrading. At this point I felt a little tense and he was almost not even talking to me but only my boyfriend. He went to the back and pulled a few lab grown diamonds to show me after twice now I said no. When I told him the third time I wasn’t interested he reaches behind him and pulls a pamphlet about the pros of cvt& lab grown diamonds and tells me “ if I sold you a lab grown you would never even know the difference “ at that point I walked right out. Defeated& upset. I then walked right over to Defino & Campagna and they were absolutely so attentive and gave me exactly...

You would think a repeat customer from years ago they would take care of and or act like they care. Rather then just try to sell me a ring that I don't want.

I ask to see a few settings and diamonds that are within my budget and they first bring out setting that were nothing as I asked. Finally Leon comes over remembers me and takes some time to help me out. After spending an hour at the store looking at diamonds and then settings, I picked one out and put a deposit on the ring.

The inventory still was decent with the exception of a few pieces that I question. As I am wrapping up the transaction of the deposit he states I will give you an in-house appraisal for the ring, not a GIA, EGL, etc.

I called about a month later to see about a deposit return due to a break up and get the run around from some lady that works their. I have been calling them three times and no one will return my call what so ever. Stay away from them...

Leon's is awesome! I shop their eBay store frequently. Real quality items and unique pieces. The BEST prices! And always willing to negotiate. Lots of great pics so you can see exactly what the jewelry piece looks like. I usually like to see the piece in person but I am addicted to Leon's now. I would definitely recommend them! I purchased my husband's wedding band and gave them the wrong size.. They told me to send it back and they resized it and shipped it back to me for free! Customer service is excellent! Super fast and free shipping! I have purchased several amazing pieces from Leon's. Keep up the good work Leon's jewelry! I can't wait...
