Purchased a brand new / old stock Omega watch. It was promised to be scratch and any physical damage free, by Igor (the seller). Once I opened the box, I was able to see that the watch is not new, but rather beat-up somewhat, with scratches on the bezel, indentations and a chipped off metal on the lug (see images). Contacted the store right away. I offered to send in the pictures of the damages, however, Igor refused to see them and bluntly commanded me to send it back. When I asked him, why didn't he tell me about it at time of sale, he pretty much repeated, saying that if i am not satisfied, I should just sent it back. I replied stating that, because of his falsifications during the sale, I missed out on another (same watch), which was advertised as gently used, for over 30% less in value and asked him if he would instead consider the compensation. He brazenly replied that he can give me a $100 back (on a $3,800 watch) , and if I am not satisfied then I should consult with my psychiatrist if my feelings are hurt. This was completely out of the line of any professional business conduct. My understanding is that partial inventory of the store is used items that are being advertised and sold as "new / old stock". Also, it then made sense, why he did not want to accept CC during the sale, being protective of himself, as that would give me an option of chargeback /dispute of any sort. In...
