SKNDUSTRY — Local services in Philadelphia

I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience with Skndstry. Recently, I encountered a situation where I needed to cancel a service because of sickness, only to be met with poor customer service and an unauthorized cancellation fee being charged to my credit card.

First and foremost, the customer service representatives I interacted with were unhelpful and lacked the basic courtesy and professionalism one expects when dealing with a service provider. They seemed indifferent to my concerns and offered no viable solutions to address the issue at hand.

To add insult to injury, I was shocked to discover an unauthorized cancellation fee for $250 on my billing statement. Not only was this fee unwarranted, but it was also never communicated to me when I emailed them to cancel. In fact, the only response was asking for what day I would like to reschedule . It shows a lack of consideration for loyal customers for a company to levy charges when cancellation policies are followed and serious health concerns are the reason for cancellation.

Overall, my experience with Skndstry has been disappointing. Even before the unauthorized charge, the services provided were nothing special, especially for the exorbitant amount of money they charge. Needles were opened and waved through the air and it just seemed overall not very medically sound. They also charge you for an entire vial of Botox or fille regardless of how much is used -- this is a very shady and slimy practice, when we all know that the vials are used until the end. There are too many other skilled professionals who show appreciation for their customers to go to Skndstry. I urge others to beware of such unethical practices and consider alternative service providers with better customer service standards.

I sincerely hope that Skndstry takes immediate steps to rectify this situation and improve its customer service practices to avoid similar grievances...

I was recommended, from a friend I trust, to the Paoli location to see Bridget. And, I'm so glad I was!

First, the whole experience at Skndustry is wonderful. The space is gorgeous, you're always greeted with warmth and a smile (and a water if you need it!), and the actual procedure rooms feel more like your own home. Everyone there is so nice.

Second, I had never done anything before, not even Botox, and Bridget took the time to go through recommended skincare routines, products, what procedures she'd recommend for me, why, what they entail, etc. But, before she even went into any of those details, she pulled up a chair next to me and asked me what I was looking to accomplish. This made me feel so at ease immediately—that this would be a tandem decision-making process. It's obviously such a personal weight to do anything to your skin or face, and I was a bit nervous to not look like "me." Bridget eased those nerves and understood what I wanted to achieve, explained what my individual anatomy can do and probably shouldn't do, and we started from there. I have total confidence in her, her opinions, her recommendations, and her skills.

Bridget is so friendly and bubbly that each appointment is really a nice time, no matter what you're getting done—and she is very attentive to any flickers of pain or discomfort. She also takes the time to get to know you as a patient, which is really a wonderful quality. I'm definitely a fan of this practice and it's staff! They also routinely do learnings (hi, Instagram stories) and are on the cutting edge of the industry—today I just got a 360 photo of my face taken, which was brand...

I cannot recommend Kaitlyn and her team highly enough!

I’ve seen a number of medical injectors over the years, and I can say with total certainty that Kaitlyn is the most impressive I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. What I appreciate most about working with her is our collaborative, partnership dynamic. I have the opportunity to share my goals for each session, and together we formulate a plan to bring them to life. At the end of each session, we review what she accomplished and discuss any products that might enhance my results.

Complete trust and total confidence in your injector can be such a rare combination to find—but with Kaitlyn, those traits come naturally. She’s the only injector I feel completely comfortable working with, and because of that, I travel between Ohio and Pennsylvania every few months to see her.
