I read the reviews on this shop and maybe if I lived regionally and popped in it had been a great experience and maybe Jennifer would have treated me respectively as her customer but my mail order was far from it. When I informed my 3 cans of Annie S. Paint arrived dented and emptying, her response was to remedy. Great that is what retailers are "supposed" to do. She required pics of everything, I sent. Was told new box would be sent the next day and she would make sure the wrapping inside was better. Meantime I allowed myself to recover from major surgery and put my project on hold waiting for the paint I needed to complete it. 2 weeks nothing. I reached out with concern that that replacement did not, make it. Jennifer puts the blame on her customer. She reports she cancelled the claim, was not taking the hit on this paint because I, did not fill out a claim form I was..unaware of or how to. I assumed obviously incorrectly that my retailer who asked for a lot of supporting documents from me, needed this to process her insurance. Needless to say Jennifer was rude, nonchalant and her customer was hurt financially, as I received paint that had spilt so badly, it was rendered useless for my project and "my" customer was upset by the added delay for finish. I painted it in another companies chalk paint from another vendor who packed it..correctly. "My" customer was given a discount on her piece and happy. I love Annie Sloan but when her retailers pull these fiascos in mail order? It hurts her customer base. I may never order Annie Sloan again because of Jennifer. It was just...bad...
Read moreI was visiting my brother and sister-in-law in St. George, Utah Last week and we stopped in. I also paint furniture and sell it. Told her I use Annie Sloan paint as well as other brands, but I disliked Annie Sloan wax. She was quite rude and suggested I watch videos online to learn how to apply it. She also asked if I sand down the pieces when I use other chalk/mineral paints. (Not required and I have never had a piece returned in 3 1/2 years). I understand she is trying to sell Annie Sloan, but I left feeling disrespected and shocked by her attitude. I was hoping she would engage in a two way Conversation; maybe ask to see some photos of my work... Her poor communication style and attitude Will certainly alienate ...
Read moreWe were just window shopping the area and happened upon this store. Not only did they have such unique gift ideas (some with a slightly naughty sense of humor, which I love), but they have chalk paint, which is something I’ve been looking for a home project I’m working on. Not only was the owner Jennifer so helpful in talking me thru the project I was working on, but she helped me figure out how much paint to buy, and also gave a quick demonstration on how to use it! She totally went above and beyond for us, and I love that level of...
