DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! Updating after moving out. I spent hours cleaning this 200sq’ overpriced studio. There wasn’t a speck of dust in the place and was disinfected with bleach. Yet they charged me $150 to clean it. I pay a professional cleaning service to clean my now 2400sq’ house $100. They had nothing to clean! I requested in writing and was told I would be present for the pre inspection and they didn’t honor that. The mattress had their mandated mattress cover over it when I moved in. I never spilled anything on it and they charged me to replace the mattress and cover without me being present to confirm. They are under new management by Anthony Silva who is just as bad as CiCi, the last manager. They will do ANYTHING to keep from giving a deposit back, even lie and not allow you to be present for it. The AC was out for the entire year I was there and every time I opened a maintenance request for it, they would close it as resolved and it was never fixed. If you move here, you’re an idiot. “All bills included” yet you pay extra to do your laundry, then it gets stolen or doesn’t get clean or dry. Elevator constantly broken and takes forever when it does work. Only 4 floors! They strive to lower their score with the BBB. Below is my original review: A terrible place to live. No parking. Street parking is limited to two hours, so even if you do find a spot, you have to move in a couple hours. During a PETCO Park event, good luck. You’ll park miles away. I moved in in January and the air conditioner system went out for the entire building and now it has been three months and mine seems to be the only one still not working. Management doesn’t seem to care that I can’t sleep here. If I open the window, the city noise is too much to sleep. If I sleep with the window closed, it’s too hot and I sweat all night. For what we pay to live in these tiny little boxes, this is unacceptable. I spoke with an attorney who said this is uninhabitable, but management will not honor that and I will have to take them to court to be able to move to a different place that is livable. I just moved to San Diego from Arkansas and this place makes...
Read moreAwful place to live. A/C system has been out for months and whenever we ask management about an update all they say is “we’re working on it”. Well they’ve been “working on it” for 3 months while still charging us for something completely unusable. The water in our unit won’t get hot and it took me telling them several times to even attempt to fix it. They turned up the boilers for our unit but guess what. Cold showers still. We have noisy upstairs neighbors and have told management several times about it. They say they have given them a call and even written an email to them however it still persist. My husband and I went upstairs to talk to them at 10:30 at night because they were still stomping around and the gentleman got mad at us saying we should have went to management and not come up to his place at 10:30pm. We have gone to management. Several times. Obviously that didn’t work so we took matters into our own hands. People here are money hungry and will not help you out. The place started out great but it has done nothing but go downhill ever since. Save yourself the hassle and move somewhere else. For $2,200 a month (with a $200 discount a month!)we should have no problems resolving these kinds of issues. There are plenty of other places around the area that would actually treat you...
Read moreI came to San Diego on a travel nursing assignment. So far this place has been PERFECT for me. I've been all over California (San Francisco, Los Angeles) I can honestly say for the location and price, this is the spot. Located in the heart of the city in trendy East Village next to Petco Park home of the Padres, Convention Center, Gaslamp Quartee. There's breweries and everything you need within walking distance. If you are to drive, everything you need is a 20 min drive or less to some of the popular destinations such as the beach, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, etc. You can get to some of these places using bird scooters if you wanted to.
I take the trolley to work, and when I'm off I enjoy everything the city has to offer.
These are studios but they are very spacious, clean, and new. Only a year old. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They plan group events and there to meet your needs.
Parking is a bit of a challenge but you really don't need a car.
I'm so happy I chose this place, because I honestly couldn't think of a better introduction to San Diego. This is in East Village, which is the newest development in San Diego. There's a lot of construction but that only means you're in the hottest...
