The store is nicely organized and offers an impressive selection of products. I had a pleasant initial interaction with a sales associate who was friendly and knowledgeable. However, my shopping experience was ultimately disappointing due to inconsistent service regarding product samples. Unlike other luxury fragrance houses such as Maison Francis Kurkdjian (MFK), which consistently encourages customers to test scents on their skin, this store's policy seems unclear. The associate who helped me stated that samples were not available, which led me to purchase a full-size bottle of a single scent without being able to test it over time. My frustration peaked when I observed another sales associate providing samples to the couple who had checked out just before me. This contradictory experience suggests a lack of consistent training or policy enforcement, which is unexpected for a luxury brand. This is a shoutout to Andy and his coworker today. I truly enjoyed my experience at Diptyque via their engaging customer service and banter. Andy’s passion for fragrance shines and makes you feel like you can’t go wrong with any of Diptyque’s products. Come for the unique scents, but defintely stay for the great vibes. Thanks for filling my cup this weekend!

Tried to go to Byredo to test out a product, and both times we tried to go they were closed so we made our way to Diptyque. It was my mom’s birthday and I got her Eau Rose. We didn’t realize Diptyque does a refill program but we will keep this in mind when we run out! We knew what we wanted so we didn’t need help or suggestions, but Karen was kind enough to ask us if we needed any help. She also helped us check out and provided great suggestions for any future visits. Made us feel really welcome and I appreciated that very much. If I’m ever back in SF, I will definitely visit this...
