George — Local services in San Francisco

This is probably one of the coolest pet stores in the US. I am not just saying this because their mascot happens to be one bad-$@ss Wire Haired Fox Terrier from the 1950's but because what it lacks in size it makes up for in swagger. I'm almost afraid to go in here with my little guy in fear of the exit fare, but it's worth it. George sells super high quality dog (and cat...) accessories that are both stylish and functional, but it doesn't stop there. George is our one-stop-shop for "those holidays where you feel compelled to dress up your pet"-- we have walked out with top hats and bat wings for Halloween and Christmas scarves a month later. Favorite pet shop in sf! Nicely curated selection of dog accessories, treats, toys, ect. that have a distinct difference from most other more "frou frou" dog shops. They do also have cat stuff, and don't sell dog food since they're a small shop. The people that work there are really knowledgeable, friendly and can answer what is in every treat/bone they carry.
