Service is great. Receive packages amazingly fast even during these COVID times. I've found some different pieces at Rockbox, and have even found great items in the clearance section and received them in excellent condition. I'm one of those people "if I like it, I buy it" and don't hold on to the items I don't want very long. But I have to say lately I have found that not many items on my wish list are available to select when I get to preview my box. I'm very disappointed in the selection of pieces from the higher priced designers, namely Melinda Maria and Joy Dravecky. And it's hit or miss to find one (happened to find Melinda Maria earrings to add to my last box), but I have a list of Joy Draveckey jewelry I'd like and it never seems to be available (have gotten a few pieces but there are many others I'd like to have included). Also, I've found that I can find some pieces, specifically Kate Spade, cheaper on the Kate Spade site (katespade.com and surprise.katespade.com) and even with my Rockbox gold membership the prices are cheaper on the Kate sites. I've also found Kendra Scott jewelry significantly cheaper on Zuliy and the Kendra Scott website as well. But remember, I'm a "purchaser", not really a "renter". Now, on the other hand, if you're someone who would like to have jewelry for a special occasion, or a vacation, or a season, then at $21 a month Rockbox would be great for you. You could rent the jewelry that costs considerably more that this, then return it when you want to try something new. I've also found some great contemporary jewelry from SLATE to wear with casual outfits. If I don't see more of the Joy Dravecky jewelry, or other jewelry from my wish list available soon, I'll have to decide if Rockbox is worth the $21 a...
Read moreJust now, I called the number listed for Little Words Project. When a woman answered, the first part of what she said was cut off, so I asked if I had reached Little Words. She responded with something I didn’t catch, and when I asked her to repeat herself, she said, ‘I’m going to have to have you look it up online.’
Confused, I asked again for the name, and she repeated, ‘I’m going to have to have you look it up online’ rather than directly telling me. It took several attempts before she finally said it was Rocksbox. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude, with a tone that was off-putting and dismissive.
It totally left a negative impression for a potential new customer. I hope the team works on improving their phone etiquette. Can’t help but wonder what the in-person...

I had an amazing experience shopping at Rocksbox in San Francisco, and it was entirely thanks to AJ. He’s hands down one of the best salespeople I’ve interacted with in a long time—super engaged, genuinely helpful, fun to talk to, and incredibly knowledgeable about the jewelry and styling.
AJ made the whole experience feel personal and exciting. He really listened to what my partner liked, offered thoughtful suggestions, and created such a welcoming vibe that I ended up staying way longer than planned (and walked out with pieces she absolutely loved!).
If you’re visiting Rocksbox SF, do yourself a favor and ask for AJ. Total rockstar. I’ll...
