THANK YOU SF Home Care! When my dad (who was living alone) fell twice, we realized he had dementia and was not able to live alone…not even unattended another night. I searched for a home health care agency. Who do you trust? Who has reliable caregivers? What are the costs? Can they get someone there immediately? These were the questions I had. Add to that I had to manage this from 400 miles away. I call SF Home Care and within a few minutes I knew this was the right place. David came to visit my dad, called me with all the details and assured me he would have someone immediately that night. What a relief. David worked with our needs and was fully communicative and reliable. He sent one gentleman the first night. Superb. Professional and caring. Next day we get Sally and had her for 2 weeks. Sally was amazing. Competent and knew all about caring for the elderly. She was one step ahead of me on all care related items, hospice and… knew exactly what my dad needed. And I am a RN! She provided wonderful, compassionate and needed care for my elderly 94 year old father. My dad was happy, safe and cared for. Private in-home-care is not inexpensive but SF Home Care made it possible and was not only the best decision we made - it helped us during a time in need. I hope this helps others who are looking for a good agency that has the...
Read moreExcellence comes from the top down, and it is evident when working with caregivers from SF Home Care they have been trained to make the patient their #1 priority. As a former caregiver himself, SF Home Care CEO David Salameh understands the demands and challenges of running a home health care business from the perspective of both patient and caregiver. Working with patients when they are at their most vulnerable, his calm, professional manner puts patients and families at ease as he strives to match each client with a caregiver who meets their individual needs. On multiple occasions I have seen him go the extra mile to make sure an appointment is kept, a prescription delivered, or found a substitute caregiver in...
Read moreI'm only able to give this place 5 stars because I worked for S F.homecare in 1994 or 1995. It's been so long ago. Back then care was focused more on skilled nursing, but I can't believe they're still operating. The clients were amazing. The agency/ all home care agencies had atleast 1 R.N. or L.V.N. and all homecare "aids" had to go through the C N.A. program. You had to be certified to do any hands on care back then. It's rare for any home care agency to stay in business for that long, especially today, because it's a very competitive business. These package deals are nice and well...
