I recently moved to Savannah and don't wear a lot of jewerlry so normally I'm at a loss when it comes to these things. I used SJG this year to create a custom engagement ring using the diamonds my Fiance proposed to me with and some diamonds from my late grandmother's wedding ring. Safe to say that the only thing that sparkles as much as my stunning new ring is the customer service that SJG provided. From the initial consultation, to all of the correspondence, to the day I picked up the rings (they also made my beautiful wedding band), I felt taken care of and the shop seemed as excited to create this masterpiece as I was to get it. I had an absolutely awful experience at Savannah Jewelers. Not only was the customer service subpar, but I was shocked to hear the staff making snide comments about customers while pretending to help. It’s one thing to have a bad day, but it’s another to mock the very people who are trying to give you their business. To add on, when I myself was trying to purchase some of their products, the staff, more specifically the owner Spencer, was among them laughing (in front of my face no less). It's incredibly unprofessional and downright disrespectful. Do that behind closed doors.

Spencer and the rest of his team are amazing and I cannot recommend them enough. I wanted something very specific for my engagement ring so my boyfriend and I went though a custom process with SJG & we could not be happier with the process and result. We ordered a raw sapphire from a raw gem dealer recommended by Spencer and Spencer designed the most amazing custom cut for the stone and cut it in house for us. From start to finish the ring was completed in about 2.5 months which was an amazing timeline for something custom.
