Herman Miller Retail Store — Local services in Seattle

I consider myself as a skeptical consumer. I do a decent amount of research for a product of this price range. Oftentimes, I end up not fully satisfied from a store visit, as associates are either unable to answer all questions or unable to give me confidence in the products they sell. This was not the case for this store.

I started relatively clueless at my first visit, and iteratively worked with the store manager, Andrew, to find the products that are right for me. I've visited this store 5 times within a span of a week, dropping about 30 different questions in total. For all but one of these questions, Andrew was able to provide an answer at the spot. For one that couldn't be answered, he followed up on the next visit with the answer.

His level of confidence in his knowledge was impressive, and none of his answer seemed to be made up. He really seems passionate (or at least well-versed) in the products he sells, and it really helped me gain confidence in the product I'm purchasing.

He was very professional, attentive of customers' needs, and respectful. Combined with his expertise, it really made me feel comfortable to drop any questions I had, knowing that he will have something for me.

The store itself was decent, but Andrew made my store visit perhaps the best one I've had in my life. 11/10 would recommend if you're interested to invest in...

I decided to check this place out grab two after hearing so many great reviews from others. I visited the website first before making the 40 minute commute to Seattle to the nearest store. I went early in the morning because I knew the consequences if I didn’t as far as parking, traffic, and everything else. By the way, be prepared to pay a minimum of $15 for nearby parking 🥴. I was lucky to find parking that was less than a hundred feet away from the store. Once I walked in I was impressed and forgot about my commute and parking adventure. The chairs are really comfortable! I was told a certain version of Herman Miller chairs outfitted most of University of Washington’s library. I knew exactly why the moment I tested one. The sales representative was knowledgeable about every product and answered every question I had. It was quite convincing that the price of their chairs are totally worth it. They literally last forever and the warranty is better than what I have for some of my TVs. We stopped in the Herman Miller store last weekend and, despite the store being busy, we were greeted right away and approached by a Herman Miller employee named Laurel. Turns out Laurel was the find of the day! She was professional and clearly knew her products. We came in with very specific questions that she answered right away and she also took the time to understand what we were wanting to accomplish with our furnishings. It was such a pleasure to work with Laurel because she gave us exactly the information we wanted, while at the same time, broadening our awareness of what else was available. And on top of that, she was a really nice person who we truly enjoyed working with.
