This building is great! I have toured so many buildings in Seattle and looked at both rentals and condos for purchase. This building was originally built as a high end condo but converted to apartments, so the appliances and build are very high end. The walls and ceiling are thick, and I cannot hear my neighbors. I have really enjoyed living here and renewed my lease again recently. Downtown is not perfect, but living close to the water and walkable restaurants is a big draw. City life energizes me. I have always felt very safe and secure in this building and never had issues with my parked car (2 levels of security gates and 24 hour video monitoring from security team). The amenities have been top notch, and the views are incredible. I genuinely feel a tinge of pride when my friends come to visit and universally take pictures of the views. The cost is not cheap, but the price for what you get is actually a strong value proposition, especially in comparison to some of the alternative buildings. Maintenance is great, and the staff are fantastic. Christina is especially cheerful and helpful— she genuinely wants you to have an amazing experience. Packages are sorted in lockers, and things feel tidy and well-oiled. All in all, this is the best building in which I have resided and the best value based on my level of day-to-day happiness.

I moved here over two years ago and love it! The staff is so sweet and really goes above and beyond to ensure the best experience possible. The building is made of concrete so I rarely hear much of anything - which is amazing if you work from home. The 34th (top) floor is the common area and has so many great amenities. The view from the gym and the outdoor patio of the city, water, and mountains is absolutely amazing and was one of the selling points for me. Sometimes the elevators can be a little slow, but everyone is always working hard to fix things so it’s not a huge deal for me. The surrounding area is also beautiful but can be a little rough - although being so close to Pike Place and the waterfront is a huge bonus. It’s really easy to get around even if you don’t have a car. Highly recommended!!

Gorgeous building, with friendly staff, and truly stellar sunset views. The rooftop makes for a perfect summer grill-and-chill spot, or a workout with a view! By the way, did I mention the views? They’re pretty rad! This is a well built building, you’re not going to hear your neighbors through the walls. A/C is a blessing on those hot summer days. The only downside? The elevators can be a bit of a wait during ā€œrush hour,ā€ though that just gives a few moments to catch up with your neighbors, and meet everyone’s pups 🤠 PS: Having a deli/bodega in the building makes living so convenient!

This is a public warning! every since this new company took over this place has gone down hill. Ave 5 really knew how to manage a hig rise place. LeAnna has no clue on how to manage an apartment complex. The staff is rude. One person by the name of Mark talks ill about people of color( which explains why there is no staff of dark pigment working here). Since the new company has tooken over there has been serveral brake ins into storage unts, cars, and into the building.Trash chutes are always down, elevators never working, hot water is often down, no heat during the cold months, AC not working, building always has an issue and it has not been a year since it's been built. The security sucks, all they do is sit down and do nothing! There is such a high amount of holmess people in a secured area using drugs and every time you enter into the building you have to make sure you are not walking into a filed of syrines and needles. The amount money that is being paid to live here is a joke. Coffee machine doesn't hardly work and you can't find cups in the gym as well as clean towers. The place is always a mess! hallways are never cleaned the dog area is always a mess and smells smh! Save your money and go else where! As the person mentioned before me TALK TO THE PEOPLE THAT LIVE HERE! every month they throw a cheap event that last an hour or two smh when they should be using our money to fix the freaking building! As stated in the opening AVE 5 was the best! the staff was friendly the front desk staff ( Andrew, and Chris) would get off their butts and clean and the two night security officers were friendly as well ( James and Tiffany)! I truly do miss them! The staff allows residents to post pictures of your trash on a site called Activebuilding displaying your name and personal information. The stairs require keys which is crazy cause the elevators never are working and you have to wait 30mins to an hour to get to your apartment. They don't have a service team that lives in the building so get use to no AC,hot water, or heat. Oh let me not add the storages units were flooded out due to a broken pipeline they failed to fix in a timely manger! I asked to be let out of my lease they stated I woud need to pay to break it which is a joke! Front door lobby doors do not work when you use your key smh! Fire place on the 6th floor never works! ......I can go on and on about how bad this place is! We the residents should file a class action law suit against this place for false advertisement! This place is nothing more but a pig with pretty lipstick! Outlets doesn't work stove always out OMG just turn this place into section 8 housing already and be...

We've lived in this building since June 2017 and have enjoyed it from day 1 until now. We would recommend this building to anyone in a heartbeat. Centrally located to everything!

It is not perfect by al means but comes pretty close. The rooftop is the best especially if you enjoy admiring the PNW view and just all of downtown. If you like to stay active, oh boy, there's a pretty good gym for you with a yoga/barre studio. If you're super buff and needs other fitness toys, it may not have everything, but trust me, you'll be fine! Working out never got easier and nicer when you have the best views in Seattle!

The apartments have nice finishes and appliances. I believe there's an apartment size for all. We've been lucky enough to live on the 6th floor with one of the large/r/est (still smaller than penthouses) patios that we use everyday to play soccer with our dog. We did choose this unit specifically for its strategic location to the dog run area and for the size of the patio when we pre-leased this unit in January 2017 :) In the summer time, we've grown a lot of plants from (smaller) peach tree, to lemon, jasmine flower, rose, kale, tomatoes and a bunch of herbs such as cilantro, parsley, lavender, oregano, etc. Yes, we just love our apartment! Really enjoy the open floor plan! Can you believe that we were able to fit our 10-seater acacia wood dining table in our dining room? -- we had 2 of those, one we placed in the patio for the summer outdoor gatherings!

Staff: The best. Concierge team cares about you and gets to know you. They'll take care of whatever you need. (Thanks, Nate, for knowing whether its my book club time and/or my workout time (or any other event) with the girls for my women's group). Maintenance staff: fast and efficient. Honestly don't know all of their names since you don't interact with them much nor see them if you need something fixed but when you do see them, they're very friendly! Leasing staff: all very nice and approachable! LeAnna and her whole team deserves an applause!

Again, it's not a perfect building and it certainly has had many issues the past 1.5+ years, however, they've done their best job to resolve many of the issues.

Advise to new residents: if something is broken and/or you need help, seek help by telling someone, maybe concierge and/or leasing officer, and guaranteed, someone will try their best to resolve your issues. And really, let's all be kind in this world, and show your gratitude/appreciation by letting them know the positives as well.

Thank you, Tower12! You're the...

Tower12 has been my home since when it first opened. I was in love with this building then and NOW. This is in a perfect downtown location, so if you are looking for a new home.. this would be it! It's in a corner that is quiet enough because its not Pikes Place Market yet and not yet Belltown per se. You cannot beat it's rooftop views! The gym is on the rooftop overlooking the water and the Olympics and the sky lounge is overlooking the city with views of the other mountains. The staff are extremely friendly both from the leasing office and the concierge team. Yes, there have been a few issues within the last 18 months, however, I truly believe that Weidner has done it's best to resolve issues/situations the best they can. Weidner was not the original owner of this building, so they did not oversee the build out of this building. Trash chute issues always clogged, well, they've hired someone to monitor the trash chutes throughout the day so we don't have this constant issue anymore. Slow elevators, well, they've worked with the elevator company and have now made changes to make them run faster and also to have 2 fob units so people don't have to rush punching in their apartment floors with 1 fob unit inside the elevator. 6th floor - I live on the the 6th floor so I can definitely talk about this. Many complained about the smell on the 6th floor due to the dog run, they've changed the floor from carpet to wood by the elevators so that has helped tremendously. They've also added the covering/awning for pet owners and pets in the dog run so you're not being rained on when you take out your dog. And lastly, let's talk about the multiple events that they put on for residents every month from Italian Night dinner, to Paint and Sip, to football season events, to Yappy Hour days for pet owners, to rose all day events, to different prizes that they give away (that I've missed sadly)... really, no one should be complaining. The management team do care and they do listen... you'll see if you choose to see and hear them out. Really, you can walk everywhere and take buses everywhere. Of course, you can uber/lyft too! Beautiful building with...
