South Lake Union Bouquet — Local services in Seattle

I actually have a mixed feeling for my experience here. The staff are pretty friendly and it's a nicely decorated store where they put beautiful bouquets on the counter. So I'm having higher expectation.

However, when I got the bouquet today. It didn't look as exquisitely organized (somehow a bit messy to me). And I'm not sure if they put the flowers together a day or two before I picked it up because some of the flowers didn't seem as fresh. One of the staff in the store did help me clean it up a bit, though. I'm using the bouquet tomorrow so I'm a bit worried about the freshness.

I did ask for a hand held size for photography, but it looks a bit too large. The florist who arranged my bouquet wasn't at the store, so there's not really an opportunity to make any adjustment. Overall the experience wasn't too bad, but I'm expecting...

Everyone deserves a visit to this shop! When you first step through the doors you're escorted into a world of creativity and life. The staff is clearly passionate about their business. Every detail of the space has been carefully thought through and cared for with joy. The bright and cheerful vibe, as well as the innovative designs and playful motif fits right in with the culture of South Lake Union. I was super impressed with all the cool products and the amazing flowers/plants available. Clearly, working with a natural product like flowers and plants requires some grace for imperfections; but you'll be hard pressed to find any blemishes at SLU Bouquet! Anyone can see that this place is the top shelf of flower shops; don't bother going anywhere else. You owe it to yourself to at least stop by...

My experience with SLU Bouquet has been amazing! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I have two brown thumbs and they have assisted me in picking out low maintenance plants and sending me off with excellent care instructions. It's been 3 months an all of my plants are still alive! This is also a testament to the quality and health of their plants they sell. Emily, the owner is fantastic, she delivered my plants to my apartment and made it so easy! She is not only incredibly knowledgeable about plants but one of the nicest people you will meet. I discovered South Lake Union Bouquet is now open!! (Tues - Fri 1-3) I just popped in and bought THE best smelling candles. Such a wonderful community business to support, they are in SLU and Columbia...
