After reading all the reviews, I was very skeptical on booking with them. Unfortunately, the Steamboat company was sold out, so I called Shoreline. The person who answered the phone was courteous but asked me to book online. I was not comfortable with that because of another review which mentioned that they booked online but couldn't do the cruise. We decided to not book, but visited Lake George regardless. As we came to the ticket counter, we decided to check it out. The girl at the ticket counter was good, who was informative and helped immediately. The prices at the counter are about $3 more than when booking online, but I'd rather not take the risk.
The cruise itself was good. They give a free alcoholic drink ticket for adults, but there are not much choices. The crew was very good, courteous, welcoming. The tour guide was very informative and educational about Lake George. The cruise was very relaxing. We did the sunset cruise, and the wind can make you feel chilly. Recommend having a jacket on hand, just in case. I was comfortable but my wife felt cold.
Definitely recommend to...
Read moreCome on!!!, A beautiful boat with staff that is nice and staff and boat that like dogs and welcomes dogs in their boat, how could it be anything but great.
We were sad cause we were going to take a lake cruise and found out that they didn't allow dogs on the Mini Haha boat! I mean, what kind of a person doesn't like dogs? We tried the Mini, haha, but they said our dog had to be fully caged. It's a tiny dog, and lucky we found this boat. I'm not surprised that they are nicer. You want me to cage my little dog that bothers no one.
But we found shoreline cruises. Everything about this boat was better. Looked better, the people were nicer. it's just that the other boat is the one you see first. Hold out for this boat before you choose one.
As far as the dog they allowed a leash and carry-on bag. Im sure you have to know your dog and its everuone responsibility to...
Read moreOur group of 8 paid for pararsailing, that was canceled due to weather. Then we looked into other activities Shoreline ticket booth offered. During this process, we got drinks at the shoreline restaurant (not cheap). When going outside to the ticket booth again to check on what was going on with our activities, the staff was talking amongst themselves about towing our cars! Good thing my wife is a good listener, we would have unknowingly been towed! Best part is their parking attendant told us to park there and it's free since we're parasailing! Towing away paying customers cars after your staff tells us it's OK to ark in your lot. Make up your minds and avoid this business AT ALL COSTS. LOOK UP ETHAN ALLEN BOATING ACCIDENT. You do NOT want to be doing any kind of business with...
